The hotel was immaculately clean and well taken care of. We have three young kids and the hotel's location close to the gondola made moving luggage easier. My wife and I both think San Marino is one of the best places we have visited in Europe and are talking about returning next year. If we return we will definitely stay at La Grotta again. Absolutely gorgeous, and cosy, and freshly renovated interior, designed by the owner, an absolutely charming lady, architect by profession. The hotel is situated in the heart of historical centre of San Marino. We fell in love with this place , and this lovely hotel)))).
