it was a unique hotel. out of the way yet right next to the largest cathedral in town and on the river. staff very nice. breakfast good. 1 english channel on the flat screen tv. hot water in shower. across from a good grocery store. easy public transport except to airport. Hotel is in one of best place of the Kaliningrad City. Not far from city center by Taxi 6-8 min. 15-20 min. walk. Near of the big green park, Historic Church and River nice place for walking. Room is not big but its ok shower cabin is too small.

For my opinion - the best restaurant in Kaliningrad with gourmet kitchen, beautiful interior and impressive vine list. perfect location in the touristic centre of the city, with a wonderful view on the main river and on the main cathedral...seems that the time of Immanuel Kant never end in such wonderful place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet in the room (maybe it was because of the season (october). The view from the window is very romantic. A very fancy hotel. It's a bit loud in the evening and smells like fried fish because of the fish restaurant on the first floor. Ther are some spots on the carpet in the room. Shower room was too small…. shower cabin was very small. do not like the fact that the room is very poor lighting, constantly twilight of dishes attended only heavy beer glasses, the complete absence of plates, cups, that's a pain. No tea/coffee making facilities. Shower pressure and temperature kept going up and down, this made it quite uncomfortable and I wouldn't have been happy letting a child use it. The room was too small.
