Clean and Tidy. Breakfast excellant and value for money, staff very helpful due to dietry needs - gluten free food required. Excellent hotel close to the old town.Everything. The localization of the hotel is very cool, in front of the main shopping and bars..good,clean and very efficient. I checked in late, was catching an early flight the next day. It was great to be able to still get room service at the time I arrived there which was almost 23.00hrs.
all reviews » Convenient location. The hotel has a great location - only 10 mins walk from both the Central Station and the Old Town, close to tram and bus links.. Opposite the hotel is the huge Stary Bowar shopping mall.the kitch 1970s decor in the bar and restaurant!. Closenes to centrum. Reception staff is excellent, very competent and helpful. A very nice room that served my purpose. Location is excellent for city centre shopping and visiting the exhibition centre. Good location - close to historic city centre: close to railway station. I know Poznan is expensive because of its exibitions etc, but to charge €175 per night for what is little more than a Travel Lodge is taking the proverbial. It describes a gym, this is two rusty pold bikes. Then to ask another €16 for breakfast uis really rubbing it in.the position of the hotel. close to the old city abd to the exhibition centre. Checking out. Access was poor (Front entrance) due to possible building works / building site next door - lack of street signage from main road. Restaurant expensive which explained why it always seemed empty. Cheaper to eat in the shopping centre opposite. The parking lot was closed, and no mention had been made of this. I had no option but to seek parking elsewhere when parking availability had been one of the reasons I chose the hotel. Also it was extremely expensive for the time that I stayed there. €150 is quite a lot for a non-five star hotel.Cable internet Connection. windows dont open,room very hot even with heating turned off and aircon on full. Housekeeping staff is slack. The bed was made so bad that I had doubts if the linen was changed at all. Dusting seems not to be part of the daily room maintenance routine. I requested a smoking room but was put in a non-smoking room. A bit pricey, would work out expensive for a family stay. Dining room was closed on Sat night! Tables set up in bar area but lacked atmosphere. Not verry english friendly. Price , extremely expensive and moreover it's without breakfast. I was waiting for check out 40 minutes. Other gasts were furies, because they were in harry for trains and plains. Hotel would not provide bar. There was a large group of us staying there but still hotel said insufficient to justify opening bar! unbelievable!. Over priced, its an old hotel with old mattress's, bathroom facilities/amenities could be improved, certainly not Novotel standard!Often forget to bring new water bottles, replace shower gels or fresh towels. lack of bar facilities as hotal would not open bar as said insufficient people staying there. Poor for a hotel of this calibre. Ceilings were covered with cobwebs which were clearly visible due to the dirt fro the air conditioning unit. room was not serviced during my 2 day visit. Everything, it is obvious that the staff here are not yet trained to Novotel standards.the hotel needs to be renew. Staff, and a few other things i would rather not go into.
