The hotel is in an excellent location - just down from the main square. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good plus a bonus that it was served until 11am - handy when you want a lie on! The room was very clean and tidy. The ambience and calmness of the hotel. The professional, prompt and gracious responsiveness of your staff, at all times helpful and pleasant. It was a delight to stay in The Grand at Krakow and I would recommend it highly.

Rooms arebig, breakfast is nice, and if you close the window, it is quiet. Excellent hotel in an excellent location. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast contained all the hot and cold items that you could want. frendliness of the staff, without exception the staff were lovely, my friend had a headache and the girl on reception went to great trouble to give her tablets. They did not hoover underneath the beds only around them. Although they advised that there was English tv, in fact it only appeared after l0.p.m. Not a great problem but a bit misleading.there was a nice bar with good service but we were alone in the bar. it was noisy on the weekend from people in the street yelling until 2 am. There is, however, little that the hotel can do about this .. it is just a location issue. Number of free TV channels restricted. Mini bar very overpriced. Rooms a little gloomy. It would have would not have stayed at the full advertised price. None, Bernard from Dublin clearly stayed at a different hotel to eveyone else and quite why he wanted bathroom scales on a family holiday beats me. The anonymous yank was obviously too fat for the bathrobe and all Americans think things are bigger in the states. All the oldies that couldn't get Coronation Street or didn't like the 10 yard walk to their room, go to Morcambe next time.Tea and coffee making facilities should be provided in the rooms. In a hotel of this caliber I was surprised that there were no mattress protectors but sheets were laid directly on the mattresses. The bottom sheets were not fitted and the duvets too short. standard rooms are not big (unless you take apartment), no wifi, only cable (wrong info on the web site). When I enquired about day trips I was only shown prices from one company which was very expensive compared to others which offer much more reasonable prices. and an airport transfer I was. very quiet midweek, bar and dining room closed during the evenings. also the bathroom looked very special but it was not practical to use and dangerouus trying to get in and out of the raised bathtub.

Cracow’s Grand Hotel – pure luxury and possibly the city’s most beautiful hotel, is located in the heart of the Old Town, a mere 50 metres from the Main Square.
