I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They exuded warmth and went out of their way to make us welcome. The fireside reception lobby was warm and inviting. The location was superb. Loved the position. Had a large room with amazing views of the mountains, water and ships. If you were disabled, the rooms too would have been easy to navigate, especially the bathroom.
