Excellent breakfast. Fem Steuer restaurant served very good quality Easter buffet. Although we booked the cheapest room, we still got a room with nice view over Oslo and the fjord. Metro link to city center stops quite close to hotel (ca. 5 - 10 min walk, depending if you go uphill or downhill). Good beds, but bit small for taller people like we. Original part of the hotel is nice old building.

Seldom have we used the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast at previous stays in other hotels but will definetely get up in time to enjoy breakfast the next time we will visit. Excellent variety. Great view of the Fjord, just next to the Ski jump which is worthwile visit. When possible, I repeatedly stay at this hotel. The quiet surroundings of the hotel, and the view of Oslo city below. The hotel old part has a unique characteristic, and the restaurant in the old part (hotel) is excellent both in terms of decor as well as food. Fantastic location, an easy 25 minutes on the metro and a 5 minute walk for fabulous views over Oslo. Internet was always connected, the facilities were lovely and we all really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Best breakfast buffet choice ever seen even including cruise lines, advised them too that effect. Great place, best to promote rooms with a view if you can. The views were stunning! The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast was huge and there was a lot of choice. The location is excellent. Take the subway from tonn venter and walk 5 minuts. But there is always something to improve of course: Wifi not always had good connection in the room. Parking at the hotel expensive. Bathroom is bit small, but practical. Darkening curtains were not big enough to cover the whole window. Bathtub had a little mold in the corners here and there. The location is great if you would like stunning views of the city - and the ride there on the T-Bane is very nice too. The surrounding area is also very nice, especially with the ski-jump. But, it is not ideally located if you wish to spend as much time as possible in the city itself-. I droppes my 2 glasses by accident when leaving the bar, and had to pay for new ones. Price of beer, but that's most places in Oslo. Terrible tv and entertainment systems the worst I have ever experienced, totally antiquated ! and they charge for basic tv which doesnt work anyway. 20-30 minutes from the city central -- could be inconvenient for City travelers. Room was very small. distance to city centre when travelling for meetings. The pool area was closed during our stay without any notice. The bed could be bigger. The rooms are fresh but feels a bit outdated. The food I received wasn´t good, but I was compensated in a good way. It's 10 km away from downtown Oslo. No comments. furniture. Nothing. the price. Staff need to learn to be warmer in their attention to guests. Prices of the restaurant. There must be some food proposals at good price; at the moment all courses are priced too much. no towels in Spa, a very very little sauna. camera troppo lontana dal resto dell'albergo.
