Very clean and modern. Washer/dryer in room very handy. Also nice to have separate room for the children. Quiet and convenient location. Everything, hotel had everything that we needed and was in a nicelocation.Just feeling like at home. Facilities, cleanliness. Staffs are friendly. The room was pretty much clean. Laundry machine and perfect kitchen (with four IH electric cooker!) are available. It is like quite a bit confortable "home".

The main room and kitchen onlyhave a floor lamp and a light over the stove.No elevator, no information about Oslo in room, no airconditioning (and it was 28 degrees that day...), no Shampoo, no reception/office outside a few hours per day. Only negatives, wireless signal was very weak in my room, no real desk to work from. Absolutely nothing in the cupboards e.g., spices, olive oil, cooking oil, salt/pepper., tea/coffee. No microwave, phone, soap, no internet connection (or at least no instructions to connect to one). Lack of heat/heaters in the apartment and lack of lights in the living room (and the rest of the apartment).It is not a hotel at all. We met no staff, there is no reception and the emailed instructions of how to get in were sent while we were en route to Norway, so we did not receive them and, consequently, the unsatisfactory nature of the reception was a shock. Facilities in the room are good but a single dishwasher tablet and one incomplete roll of toilet paper seemed mean-spirited given the price!. Spartan furniture, minimal, eg just white walls,no decoration, one bedside lamp for whole bedroom , no supply of soap/shampoo. Just little things would make it so much more wellcoming.The access to the room was difficult as it required a phone call with no call box. I do not have a cell phone in Europe. There was no elevator for luggage. Also, the coffee pot was missing the carafe. There was only one partial roll of toilet paper. The bedroom is very very tiny, the beds are extremely narrow, and the"double bed" is 2 tiny, narrow single beds put together. So if you liketo snuggle with your wife, then this is not your hotel. Shower is alsosmall, and uncomfortable. No elevator, so it's a healthy exercise to get2 huge luggages up to the 3rd floor. I can't imagine what elderly peoplewould do. :). Bring your own toilet paper, washing powder and dishwasher tablets! No curtains in living area and bedroom curtains hanging off rails (we stayed in 2 different rooms and all the same. Lighting poor- only light for 2nd bedroom on the windowsill behind curtains!. They didn't have lugage facility so we wasted half a day carrying our bags everywhere,we only had 3 chairs at the diner table for the four of us,and on the day before we left we came back home to find a recliner and foot stool had also been removed.things were missing int the kitchen, no dishtowels, dishwasher tablets, no salt or pepper, no paper towels, not enough light reduction for the night in the sleeping rooms, ikea furniture not really the standard for a good and costly appartment hotel. no parking, I have to pay 500 NKR fine for the parking in the street.

Please note that Catalina Apartments has no reception. For any maintenance issues, staff can be contacted using the details found on the booking confirmation. Weekly cleaning and change of bed linen and towels are included for stays of 11 nights or more. Final cleaning is included for all stays. Extra cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. During weekends, guests under the age of 25 can only check in if travelling as part of a family. A refundable security deposit of NOK 1000 is charged by Catalina Apartments upon arrival. In the event of early departure, the entire amount of the booked stay will be charged. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Catalina Apartments in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise.

Travelling information

Located in the very best part of Oslo and just a few meters from the main entrance to the famous Vigeland Park. The tram stops just 200 meters from the hotel, and you can easily walk to Majorstuen Metro Station.

The metro will take you to Oslo City Centre in 2 minutes. From Oslo Central Station you can take the Airport train to Oslo Airport Gardermoen (19 minutes).
