In the middle of the west-european capitol there is an area where you feel as you were in Far Asia. I haven't been in e.g. China and it was also a reason why I have chosen this hotel. And it was an excellent experience - a combination of China's care about the client, his wishes. The room was perhaps small, but it's not a problem. Everything was excellent !!!! 10 / 10. Great staff. Room was like new. Near both main train stations inthe Hague.
all reviews » Staff is extremely friendly. Kind atmosphere. It was ten minutes walking from the station of Den Haag Centraal andmaybe less from Den Haag hs (station for international ic, hi-speedtrains etc.). The staff was very chinese, that is fast, efficient andextremely polite. Room was clean, great furniture, air conditioning, bigmirrors and big window so it was bright but relaxing. The hotel was excellent in all aspects.The staff were friendly and veryhelpful. The bed had a very comfortable matress topper. The curtainskept the room dark and there was a nice bedside light.The hotel staff is very helpful and very cordial. The location is in the heart of the city, close to many good restaurants, as well as close to train station. Well, perhaps an access - at the day I arrived the street in front of the hotel was reconstructed - but, it was independent on the hotel. Water pressure in shower was weak.Breakfast could be a little more and a little more diverse. There were two different kind of breakfast: the chinese one and thewestern one. The former was richer and much bigger than the latter: forexemple, they didn't have coffee while they had ginseng (or somethinglike that). Anyway, asked the waitress for coffee and she gentlyprepared it for me.No milk provided with the tea making and no coffee sachets. Added more items in the breakfast menu. The carpet of the room. It looks dirty even though it was clean. Did not accept Mastercard. Some road works going on outside door. Not particularly nice area of city. Very hard mattress. Unexplained extra addition to price.Very hard beds. There were no iron in the room and l had to pay €15 deposit to borrow one.There was a possibility for a wire-bound ethernet connection which I appreciate. However, it did not work, unfortunately. One minor thing: the shower was one of those fixed-to-the-wall kind which you cannot hold in your hand and which in addition sprayed in every direction. Breakfast only from 8 a.m.The beds (imported from China) are rock-hard - the floor might have been more comfortable (it has very deep-pile carpet)! No bedside lights. none. 1) no work desk in the room 2) a little smell of china restaurant 3) no possibility to pay with MasterCard (I payed in cash). The location of the bedroom was too close to the door. Making any noises from the hallway disturbing to ones relaxation.Room at the street side has some street noise at night.TV was broke. i thought the bed matress was unusually stiff.It's little far from the station. single rooms are very few. i had to move to another room. Internet cable is located the bed and not by the desk where it is more confortable to do some work. Dust under the bed. check in was a bit haphazard. views of my room. I was not able to pay using Mastercard; Visa or Maestro. Amex was available - I had to go out to get cash. Some room heaters are not working well and we don't seem to be able to keep the room warm enough.add more options in breakfast, no Chinese style. - Did not accept credit cards except AmEx. - No telephone service from room. - Internet WiFi service not working.the matrass was as hard as a marble slab. Some people seem to like it but in my opinion you could just as well sleep on the floor. Also the curtains let too much daylight through. I noticed during my stay that the cleaner was not making my bed properly and used only to restore my douvet cover back to its place but the bed sheets where the same as i left from previous night.. The heater was not working properly.. there were two heaters in the room and one of them was blowing worm air but the other was blowing cold air..TV did not work. Matress was extremely hard. it is difficult to walk from the train station with too heavy luggage. internet connection, unfortunately unavailable. the room was not cleaned.
