This self service restaurant can also be found in Lounge 3 and offers a large selection of drinks, and various tasty sandwiches. Furthermore the hotel offers 24 hour room service. Mercure Schiphol Terminal is located on the 1st floor in lounge 3. This is between gates E and F. To reach the hotel from outside the airport, please proceed to departure hall 3 and pass customs on the 2nd floor above check-in desks 22 and 23. After customs turn right and you will find the hotel. Guests cannot access the hotel with check-in luggage.

Everything you need for a layover at the airport...Shower, tv, coffe and tea pot and close to restaurants. You need a boarding pass to get to it...and maybe a reservation confirmation as we'll as it is located in the transit terminal. Look for signs for the Rijk museum and then you will see signs for the mercure hotel. Extremely comfortable and worked well for an overnight stayover.. We had a chance to shop in the terminal as well as go to Amsterdam.. Alittle pricey for one night but well worth it.
all reviews » You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is behind customs! I got my boarding pass and went through customs. Woke up and walked to my gate for an 8:15 flight. Fabulous!. It is very convenient to stay at Schiphol airport - especially before an early charter flight. Comfortable room and bathroom with great rain shower. location on the airport is the best kept secret. functional rooms, with enough space for babybed. Good bathroom, beds. Comfortable & clean. I liked being at the airport itself (no worries about "getting there"). My room had all the amenities for such a brief stay, and was very quiet. The most comfortable beds great showers spotlessly clean, but location most of all if you are using as a stopover between flights as we were. Location is wonderful! Great to be able to get up and walk straight to your gate without having to go through main passport control. The hotel was very nice and quiet and right in the terminal. Great shower. It is not especially luxurious but you don't go for the luxury. The room is a bit unusual, without windows but comfortable with great rain shower. We stayed to catch an early flight the next morning from Schiphol - Unfortunately, it is not possible to drop-off luggage at the airline the day before departure! This means, going through customs twice again in the morning. Worth the effort, but not if you are packed with suitcases and young children ;-). In trying to adjust the air conditioner, couldn't get the room temperature right (too cold!). If you have luggage to check, you have to go back through the airport along with the "arrivals," and start all over again. Nothing. Nothing!. Nothing. I could smell some previous occupant's cologne. Kleenex holder was empty, and other small amenities were not taken care of. I wish there were more hotels like this. You can not switch off or turn down the AC. no window, but not that much of a disappointment. Small room, small beds, but the room is "doable" for an overnight stay. nothing really. having to check out the airport (customs, bags checking etc), then find storage for my big suitcase, then having to get back in (again customs, hand luggage checking etc) to get to the hotel. Then the next day having to do all that in reverse. Complicated. 2 mosquitos in room I have no idea how they managed to get in room Only one left when I checked out LOL. Was expensive. Mattress not so comfortable. Felt springs while resting. We did not find the directions very easy. This is the airport's fault rather then the hotel's. I was there when it was time to shower and to go to bed. I will check this out when I have more time. we couldn't find any customs officers on duty to get back to the hotel at around midnight and were not notified if there was a time limit to get back in - it took us running from one gate to another to finally find someone on duty. Don't have family rooms for 2 adults/2 kids. They changed the television channels and I could not get CNBC which is vital to me. Very hard to find. It took an hour from landing to find the Hotel as there were no signs to it in the Arrivals part of the airport and no one available to ask directions. Schipol is the worst airport for directions I have ever had the misfortune to use. No dislike. Hotel is after the customs, So you need to keep the check-in baggages in the lockers till check-in is possible for your flight. After your night's stay,you have to come out through the arrival gate for baggage check-in. It is really troublesome. rooms really small but o.k. Nothing.
