Golden Tulip is Rotterdam's best value for money hotel offering notablymodern, well furnished and noise-isolated rooms, a state of the artwellness area and free Wireless Internet access. Very pleasant. The noise from outside was not noticeable at all after closing the small windown. Great ocean view from room.I liked this hotel allot. My room was a river view room. it was excellent.. that hotel also had a nice swimming pool.

Although I did manage to change how I was billed (I wanted my company to pay direct), it was a bit difficult to do this. It took 3 days and production of various documents to get it done and I wan't always told exactly what was required. But eventually it was achieved. TV reception was not very good. A very 'snowy' picture.access to car parking. Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovation. Room was compact, and there was only one easy chair.The waiters in the 'Water' brasserie are very slow to serve and completely blind if you require to order another drink, food, pay the bill etc. In fact I ended up having to walk over to them to place orders. However this was the only complaint I had from an otherwise exceptional stay. I felt a hotel of that standard should have a decent lobby with comfortable seats. Breakfasts a rip off but there were lovely places close by.The charges for hotel parking. Its a facilitie like a swimming pool I dont expect to have to pay for. The fact we coudn´t enjoy the views from the Maas. Towels were very tired - my bath towel actually had a hole in it. The price of breakfast was way too expensive. Not a very good slection of vegetarian food or bar snacks, and some of the bar staff are not really suited to working in a service environment.My room was not ready before 3pm, which is too late. I was having a meeting and I had to change in the toilet near reception. A new memeber of staff forgot to log in my payment - leading to some confusion - this member of staff needed to be called whiles at school for my payment to be confirmed!! Regretted not insisting on a receipt upon payment!!. waited too long for dinner. the shower head was too big for the space and made showering really awkward - particularly if you didn't want to wet your hair.expensive. Optimal position, optimal hotel, but devoid for the Italian language, I understand that many my compatriots are little tilt to speak l' English, but also… staff, or made feint not to understand? I have asked to ashtray, in English, after in Dutch, "asbakje" for my room smokers, and the answer, and that it could not be smoked in the receptions!? A more than understanding and patience would be us. the hotel room was a bit on the chilly side. the heating was set at 19 and although there was a control it would not go above 19. room on the small side, sparsely room for clothing. access to panorama view.

Guest travelling by car are advised to enter Schiedamsedijk as travel destination when using a navigation system. Please note that it is not possible to place an extra bed in the City View and Waterfront rooms. Please note that extra beds are available upon request, as limited supply is available. Information about the area

Located in the city centre, on the waterfront and at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge. All major tourist attractions and shopping malls are within walking distance.

From almost every window, you will have a spectacular view over the water and the Leuvehaven, a picturesque inner harbour where, among other things, ships are moored which belong to the Maritime Museum Rotterdam. Furthermore, you can overlook the skyline of Rotterdam with all of its modern architecture and the Meuse, one of the busiest rivers of the Netherlands.

There are ample parking facilities in and around the hotel in the Erasmus Bridge car park. There is a metro station and tram stop in front of the hotel.
Spido Harbour Cruises and the Maritime Museum are the hotel's direct neighbours. Rotterdam Airport is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from the
hotel.
