The room itself was taken mostly by the bed, but that was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk-in shower that was very nice and unexpected! Great help at the front desk and availability of coffee and teas nice. Location basically right across from the train station was excellent, and we weren't bothered by any station noise. The room was very big and spotless clean. Brand new bathroom . The "bar" where you can relax, have a drink (free!) and read a newspaper. The "welcome" bowl of soup; huge buffet for breakfast; very friendly and efficient staff at the reception.Location is perfect ,at walking distance of shopping area but very quiet at the same time.

Judy Needham. The location was excellent as it was next to the Maastricht Rail station which we arrived from. And just a street away from the car rental company. The design of the interiors - lobby & room - was cosy and warm. Very convenient location nearby central station and only a short walk to the city centre. Lovely hotel. The parking garage had very limited lots and we couldn't get a space at night to park our rental car. Semi-open slats in bathroom door were a bit odd - it didn't really cause us any problems but might make some people uncomfortable. The breakfast is rather expensive (though sometimes negotiable) but there are good alternatives available nearby. I didn't like that the shower has no door so the floor outside gets wet. The beds were a bit high and the rooms a bit bare. The sink in our en-suite didn't have a plug so my husband found it difficult to have a wet shave. In my room there were no closet so my clothes had to say in my luggage, not so convenient. 1. As always, as I'm on my own, I don't get the best room. Mine was on the ground floor with the window just next to the pavement of the street leading to the station. 2. The alarm clock woke me up at 6:45am on Sunday morning... Staff should check it when cleaning the room. 3. Books, magazins, newspapers everywhere but all in Dutch. Not one single TV channel in French... not dramatic for me but I'm surprised that the hotel is not more international. Nothing really. Nothing. Although the breakfast buffet choice was good, not having green tea seemed weird. This is a choice good to have. Also bathroom was inconvenient, with water splashing out of the shower cabin no matter how hard I've tried to contain it :). The breakfast is a bit expensive, but otherwise fine. The toilet door doesn't provide any privacy. The radio in the bathroom acts as alarm clock and switched on unexpectedly in the middle of the night. Could see only the wall of the adjacent building from the window. Would have been nice to have a clock in the room. No wi-fi reaching the room too. from an aesthetics perspective, i thought some of the decor was a bit 'messy'.... e.g. the books in rooms, ants on wall paper. just subjective opinion. Could be a kettle in room. too easy to spray shower sprayed over floor. Beds too soft. No closet in the bedroom. Can't think of anything. Room cleaning could be better. No coffee making facility. All good no complaints. Price of breakfast was too steep - we ate elsewhere. No telefone in the room. No mini-bar (should have been booked with the room. Breakfast ended early for us . Teenagers liketo sleep. No minibar in room,rooms were spacious but only for travellers with small bags!:)). - Bathroom is too open - okay when you re a couple but a bit uncomfortable at times. - it got too hot during night. Nice room with good bed and bathroom facilities, but no comfortable seating in it. nothing. Breakfast is delicious, but very expensive…. Breakfast tables - sometimes nowhere to sit. Nothing. Beds a bit firm.
