This is one of those charming hotel. My stay there was another Maastricht delightful experience itself. Like every charming hotel, it got its own charracter, which weren't always glamorous. Pastis location in upscale residential area, right infront of Maastrict college, 5 mins from two city parks, which one of them has mini zoo free admission. I got the attic room no 7, which make me slightly worried because some of the reviews. It turn out very comfy for me. I had spacious double bed for my se.
all reviews » Very friendly staff! At the last moment I could not find my socket adapter and I've been provided them. Even one for 13A that is very difficult to find in common places. And in general they helped me a lot (this trip was stroke of bad luck for me). Good breakfast. Quite place. The staff was wonderful. The apartment set-up was very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast area was very inviting. They provided a small fridge for guest to use in the hallway. Walking distance and very close to the city. The local restuarant was great also. We liked the very friendly reception tremendous breakfast and the very clean and extremely comfortable accomodation.We were booked in the studio which gave us great flexibility and the staff were very helpful. Very friendly, charming, cosy, quiet and near to the city center, in a very safe neighbourhood. The staff was excellent and reliable. The breakfast was great!!!!. We have stayed on four occasions and have always been made to feel very welcome. Good value for money compared to more expensive hotels in the city. The hotel was quite easy to find and parking was convenient. 30 mins walking from Central Station with Not so smooth path (through the old city), could ruined your luggage wheels. There are bus though, so you could use one. No Elevator and very steeped narrow wooden stairs. My room was on the 3rd floor. So, I got quite cardio to burn all the cheese from breakfast. No cupboard whatsoever in the room. Ensuite bathroom and toilet without any door, just a plastic curtain for the shower. Absence of wardrobe and chest of drawers or kind of. For long stay I would like to have them. Small tv hard to see and to outdated. Recommend flat screen in the future. Nothing!!!. Leaving!. It's a 5 min. walk from the city center. For us absolutely no problem. Easier parking space could be found here. Street noise. We were located in the Annex rooms (another building and street), it was not mentioned during the the reservation procedure. We were put in the Annex rooms. they were very dated and quite basic. They didn't bear much resemblance to the photos on the booking site. I though euro 100 was too high for this kind of accommodation.
