This Hotel is run by Family Rekko located in a quiet district near Helpoort. The elder gentleman (should be the owner) was nice, speaking slow but very clear English. At the first day we were the only two guests, but breakfast still well-prepared with boiled eggs and hot tea/coffee. Excellent service. Each room was different, tasteful and clean. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The location is also great. There is an awesome restaurant around the corner. A bit off the beaten track, but close enough to walk everywhere. I will definitely go back to Rekko!.

There is no elevator, which I didn't really care about, but something to keep in mind. The staircase could be a challenge for the elderly or disabled. There was nothing apart from the fact that the stairs are a bit of a climb -the only disadvantage I found. But the advantages far outweigh this if you are fit and healthy. A bit noisy (we could hear the neighbours upstairs walking and talking). the stairs(not for the faint hearted) but other than that we would certainly stay there again, PS,thx Chambres Rekko. There was nothing we could complain about. No mini fridge in room. Stairs. A bit pricey. Located on 4th floor narrow stairway. Cost of room. terrible staircase. Not worth it to book the "budget" room, poor value Did not see the hosts the entire duration of stay; not a warm, cozy B&B experience. They asked us to pay up front because they "might not see us again." Only one small disk of hand soap for the bathroom. Nothing else at all. Budget room is tiny without breakfast included at €90, not worth it.
