Wow!!! It's a REAL river ship! One of the greatest accommodation experience ever! So authentic. Owners are extremely polite and friendly. Good breakfast. Cabins are small, but clean. Great views from cabin window over the river. Bed are very narrow and tiny, but how cares, it's a boat. Defenetly will stay again and would recommend to everybody. I was pleasantly surprised by Botel Maastricht. The river location was charming! I arrived very late and left early morning but everyone was helpful. I was able to be in a room by myself. The place was quiet. It had a more hotel feel for the price of a hostel. Everything was clean and I felt very safe as a young woman traveling alone.
all reviews » The boat was a most wonderful experience, meeting all sorts of people. Staff were fantastic and also the opportunity to spend time on the upper decks by ourselves. A part of the city yet feels like you are in the countryside. I would recommend it highly even though the accomodation is basic, there is an air of going home about it. The staff is friendly. The botel is clean. Our room has a nice big window view of the Maas river as requested. We enjoy sitting at the bar and looking at the night view of Maastricht while we dine. There is common toilet at the corridor. Bathing water is hot enough for comfortable showering. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Botel. The staff were really helpful and advised us of nearby tourist attractions. The location of the Botel is excellent and we were really close to old town. The river view from the Botel was lovely. We would definately stay here again!. The staff is very Nice and always willing to help every guest. The accomodation is very Nice with a friendly price. The localization is perfect because is near the city center and supermarkets. I still go there to get some tea at their great bar!. We loved the setting and situation. So close to the city. The smell of old brings you back to the 1960s as well as the state of the whole boat. Let's not talk about the bathroom, since the topic is to depressing. stains on the bed. No showergel. Toilet in the shower. Small beds, one must not be taller than 1.80 m. ppl snorking can't make you sleep, guess what you listen to them in other rooms while u r locked in ur room.
