  The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps.   I had already stayed at this hotel once, in March. By that time, I loved the hotel except from it's staff, which I found a little rude. Now I think they have improved it. There are several options of transportation close to - I got really impressed by the cleaness and comfort. The beds are wonderful. The bedding was very clean and nice. The furniture seems brand new. The There is a kinder garden right in front of the hotel, so I think that's why the street is closed for cars, which makes it really peaceful even in the middle of everything else.   Loved the location! The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Self check in/out. Soup, salad, and sandwich take away store just around the corner. Nice view from the room. - It is basically an apartment for rent. It was nice and clean and i much preferred it to constant knocking on the door asking if you want towels.
