House keeping came around at 10am each morning to clean room. This is too early and not usual for hotels. Too small room and bath room. cold showers, very noisy (woke us up everyday at 6am because of construction on building), staff was terrible. When I arrived at the hotel there was no tea or coffee in the room, I tried knocking on the receptions door but it was unattended and stayed that way for the rest of the evening. The room was shabby, holes in the doors lots of cracks in the bathroom ect. When I got hold of reception the next morning they asked me to wait a further couple of hours for tea/coffee.Well the bath was not really in good shape. My friend did not use the shower at all. You could hardly close the door while sitting on the toilet. Room was not really clean, dust, and not well cleaned at all. Too bad no fresh bread for breakfast only toast... Breakfast service where not able to comunicate due to their lack of english language experience. There was no reception staff at this time. first we ordered a room for a couple with double bad, the room was so tiny, that we couldent move in it, the bad was for 1.5 persons, the mattres was bad, the bathroom very small and you could not go to toilet, unless you open the door.after speaking with the hotel staff, they told us that after 2 days, they will have a room for 4 persons that we can have it. that room was ok (but no double bads). Rooms are dirty and smell bad. No elevator and too many steps to get even to the first floor. Room smelled a lot, was moist, and not too clean.room smelt, not cleen,.

Schiphol (A4) in the direction of Zaandam. Take exit S106 and turn right at the end of this exit. Continue straight on past the Surinameplein roundabout. Turn left on to the Overtoom when you have reached the bridge. After passing the fifth tram stop turn left into the Constantijn Huygensstraat. Take the third street on your left (Vossiusstraat). Drive to the end and turn right into the Hobbemastraat. Turn the first to the right and you are on the Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat. Hotel Bellington is located on your right-hand side.
By public transport:
Central Station - take tram number 2 or 5 and get off at Hobbemastraat . Turn right and go to the second corner on your left (Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat). Hotel Bellington is on your right-hand side.
