Great location basically right smack in the city center (5 minutes walk from the railway station, 2-3 minutes walk from the main city square with all the restaurants etc... Shopping mall is across the street). Very helpful staff. Rooms are of very nice design, perfectly clean and there's very good restaurant at the hotel. The price is also one of the lowest around the city for the hotel (though the restaurant prices looked pretty steep, but the food quality was worth it). I already staid at t.
all reviews » The staff is fantastic! Some of the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, from the reception and kitchen staff to the room service and night guard. Free wi-fi is fast. Italian restaurant downstairs serves great coffee which was 80c before 12 at time of writing. Centrally located in a square with bars and restaurants, only a couple of minutes walk for the shopping area, 10 minutes from the Station, and 5 minutes for the Philips Football (Soccer) Stadium. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station - and quite a good walk, through all the shops/city centre, which helped me find my bearings a bit. Room was very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast restaurant is lovely. Looks out onto a nice square with some bars and cafes. Nice staff, very clean & elegant rooms, good amenites. Friendly staff. Nothing except the placing. The check-in do not work at nigh and it's good idea to notify them in advance if you are coming after 6 pm or so. Some initial problems with the room, which had a see-through glass shower door, but this was still works in progress at the time. Swiftly changed to another room the following day. Lift is a bit awkward and will stop if the sensors are touched while in motion. The bathroom door is a piece of frosted glass which may cause privacy issues for some - wasn't an issue for me as I was on my own. There was no staff around during the buffet breakfast so I wasn't offered any tea/coffee until I had almost finished eating. Bathroom door is not exactly a door...made of glass and rolling to right...(in this case, there could be some problems with the privacy... while in bathroom...). Breakfast not included in room price. Nothing. The elevator was not working. Parking quite expensive although may be a whole city thing. They closed restorant at 10 o clock?why so early?. The breakfast is poor and does not worth €12.5. The staff are few, only one lady was there who gave service at the reception and at the restaurant as well, at the same time. A bit expensive. Bathroom door is transparent, this may bring some privacy issues!. nothing. Room a bit cramped. Toilet bowl and seat right in front of bathroom door and hand basin behind the wall the places of tse should be changed not private enough. The price not coresponding to the 3 stars hotel. The price is higher than in Mercure Amsterdam. Toilet in the room, wardrobe very small, there's no person on the reception desk all the daytime. The hotel changed the price when we arrived end up paying more booked a taxi the morning we were leaving to go airport taxi never turned up asked lady on reception where taxi was and wasn't very helpful had to walk to train station won't be going back there again.
