Iv stayed here three times now and usually have the en suite bedroom on top floor but this time we could not so stayed in the shared facilitied bedroom. this was ok for one night but if staying any longer time I would recommend the ensuite room. but however no problmes with the shared bathroom and our bedroom was clean and tidy and perfect for our one night stay, dave who works there is friendly and helpful.
all reviews » It was very interesting to leave in a real hause in the centre of Amsterdam.The hosts were very nice and welcoming. In a kitchen it is possible to have breakfast. Very good central location, not far from the main central station andthe centre of the city. The train stop is just near the hause. There are several shops near by. Lovely and clean, comfortable room, perfect for what we needed which was a stop off change and snooze inbetween sightseeing. Have recomended to friends. Perfect location. Fantastic location. Room was beautiful and had everything you needed (even a plasma tv!). Would highly recommend this to any couple or solo traveller. The room itself, well-balanced space, great location, friendly staff giving a lot of tips, close to central station and to city centre. Good location with tram stop outside door. Spacious room. As the same as many hotel in Amsterdam, they all very small and expensive, but it does't bother us, as we just need a bed to sleep, and travel during the day. Very good location!. great location. Not for everyone would be nice to live in a typical Amsterdam house. But we liked it. No negatives. Just love those Dutch stairs!. Amsterdam is not a cheap city :). Toilet/shower room is very, very small. A bit noisy as the building is quite old, small shower. The street is a little bit noisy, wifi doesn't work very well. spiral staircase. dangerous for children and the elderly. There was a bit of smell of smoke (well, I guess you can't really say anything as you are in Amsterdam!), and the hitting was not managing to heat the room too well, but we could sleep anyway. The toilet was not the cleanest, but it would not put me off from staying there again. More suitable for young people. Last night we had a mouse in the room. Mice in the room ( very noisy at night ) !!!! No toilet paper for three days and there was nobody to help us :( Noisy street and building and small room ... Avoid !!. Mice in the room! Bed bugs!! Avoid!!! Horrible!!!!.
