Excellent location in an upscale neighbourhood close to the hustle and bustle of the city but far enough away for it to a relaxing retreat. Being right next to Vondelpark was a wonderful benefit. The room was very elegant and comfortable. Having the kitchen was very helpful and reasonably stocked which is really a benefit when travelling with kids. The coffeemaker for cappachinos was a lovely added benefit. The Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. We only took it on the first day .
all reviews » This property has charming private suites with a special extra touch of amenities. They offer a delicious breakfast with a deluxe coffee/espresso-maker in the room. Our suite has a deep soaking bathtub and separate shower with rain-shower and hand held shower-head. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and as if we were at home. They also provided tourist information. It is conveniently located within walking distance or public transportation to museums, shopping and restaurants. I would highly . The location in Amsterdam is great! It is located in a beautiful neighborhood at the end of Vondel Park. Quiet at night. There are many good restaurants in the neighborhood and only a short tram ride .on the No. 2 to the middle of the action. Extremely clean and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff and owners are marvelous. The apartment was spacious and wifi reception was good. After being provided the apartment details, the owner took the time to show us how to use the Nespresso machine (provided in the apartment), which came in handy. There was even a binder that contained places to eat in the area, and in the city. Petra was amazing. She emailed us a week before our stay to see if we had any specific needs and provided 5 different options for directions as well as a few recommendations. She even went out and bought ingredients to accomodate my fiance's gluten alergy. Truly a top notch experience. a great room with a great Bath and shower. a huge back yard for our use only! every thing was exactly in our tast. the breakfast was also good and with the coffee machine - a great start to the day. thank you!. A few minor things but nothing worth mentioning. the entrence is not very accessible to handicap other then that - all great. The price was just a little bit too steep (170 Eur) for what you actually get in terms of facilities. Nothing really... would have been nice to have a metro stop nearby, but that's about it. Room a bit too warm on warm days. Could do with a fan. Nothing. The remote on the tv did not tell you anything about the programs. Nothing.
