The hotel is quite new on the inside of the room. Beds are all new and the room smells good. It is very hard to get a room within budget but has this quality. Great staff, very kind and helful. The location is perfect and the value for money was fair. highly recommended!. Location, cost, helpful staff. Good location, friendly staff. very convient location!!!!.

Good location, wifi, cheap, toom service. el personal atiende muy bien. the location. Near city. location. The location is excellent for young travelers. We`ve walked through the whole city. The metro station is 3 minutes away but we prefered walking. There are also lots of clubs near by, stores, restaurants,... Also the staff is very helpful, they are nice and they do their job as much as it is possible in that hotel. Location was not too bad, near center, quiet and could have your guests come to your room without going through hotel lobby. Check-out time was 11am and not 10am as said on website...so that was a relief!. The price is good for a trip with friends/college etc. Bed and breakfast type of Stay Friendly reception. I liked the way it was close to lite square. Radiators worked well so nice and warm. The view on the canals. good location. Location. Location. Near the centre of the city. Thank god we have our own toilet, cannot imagine if we needs to share the toilet with whole flat. 4 person in a room has own toilet, 6 person in a room needs to share toilet. The cleanliness of the toilet is not too bad but it stinks a little. very steep stairs, but it's not only there. If possible, ask to stay in a low floor. Door keycard stopped working twice. The reception is on other building crossing the Avenue, and you have to take your bags up and down through narrow and steep stairs. it was very cold and there is no elevator. As we was on the top floor 75 steps with no lift lucky we only had bags to carry. 4th floor with a steep staircase. End november, no heat in the evening so not very comfortable. Guess you get what you pay for,. No lift ,becaue we traveling with old person with wheelchair. The room is literally disgusting. Is not much of a problem for young couples or groups of friends in which case you`ll probably only sleep in the hotel and not spend much time there. Otherwise, I do not recommend it for families or older couples. The stairs are very very steep so there could be a problem with carrying your bags. The room is very small, the walls are thin so you can hear every step. The bathroom was fortunately recently renowated so it was clean, but still, very small. No elevator, stay away if you have big bags. Staircase was stiff and dangerous. Interior was old. Carpet was dirty and floor was not even flat surface. Rotten wood around the door frame. I know they had vacant room and could give us the room early but made us to wait until after 2 to check in. No Storage for luggage, just left in the breakfast room. The flights of stairs to my room were incredible, very tiring-right at the top. There also this sewer type smell coming from the toilet--and the noise from the other guests when you were trying to go to sleep was irritating... There is no reception, you have to go across the road/bridge to the other hotel which serves as the reception for this one, rooms are really small for more than 2 people. Stairways are as steep as mount Everest, you have to be really fit to lift your bags to the 2-3-4th floor. Some of the mattresses were half of the bed size, you can barely sleep in. Not really a hotel There were rats running around In the garden area Keys did often not work Wireless not stable. I did not like the four stories of vertical stairs we had to climb in order to get to the room it was just outragious and very dangerous expecially when you've been drinking alcohol and smoking weed make a lift or just make a normal stairs like normal people!. Very expensive for what was more like a twin room in a hostel. Just 2 narrow beds in a white box room with a tiny private bathroom with pathetic shower. Gold curtains falling off the rail, tv cables dangling against wall and very noisy (could hear other residents clambering stairs and banging about above us all night). Will not be returning or recommending. The advertised free wifi was a joke. steps to my room. Service was awful, room facilities were bad... Water not working properly, no shower curtain etc. weed was smelled throughout the building! The stairs are beyond dangerous. Not very clean. The room is too small for three persons. Breakfast service is very bad. The room was nothing like the one depicted on the website. The room itself was a little grimy, the décor basic and the furniture flimsy/broken. There was no remote control for the tv, nor was there any instructions as to how to obtain one. It was poor value for money and I would be reluctant to use letsbookhotel.com again as I feel like I was hoodwinked. This is not a hotel. This is a place for backpackers. And even the backpackers won't return. Here are a few things that I didn't like about the hotel: *) It is far from the city center (red lights district) ~ 2km *) The room was super small ( one bed over another) *) The walls of the room were super dirty as well as the room itself. To sum up, I believe there are better options in Amsterdam with the same price range. There were rats in the garden. Environment some what dirty Garbage for weeks stored in the garden. Terrible place, So unclean!! Everything at the room was either dirty or broken!! It was noisy,staff was not so professional,breakfast was horrible,please dont go there... The room is not very good, not very clean. The night before I stayed in Hotel de Paris (3 stars) for only a few Euros more, and it was much better. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for the we and I had to move to this sub standard hotel. Every think. The staff were very rude, my worst hotel experience in Europe. Towels were dirty (and one even smelled). The room was nothing like the pictures. When I booked the hotel it showed as three stars, now it shows as two stars, but when we asked we knew that the hotel lost its star rating. I think the property on letsbookhotel.com is very deceiving, which is a shame really. Everything. People at reception where very rude. The ceiling was falling a part. The beds were filthy. The bathroom old and decaying. Noisy. There is a discotqque just around the corner. In one word a nightmare.
