Convenient hotel in terms of location near to tram stop, comfortable room with important facilities such as kettle, clean room & bathroom and friendly hotel reception staff. Convieniently close to the town centre,very helpfull and friendly staff and excellent food.fantastic hotel and good location for Rai. good connection to city center and nice person. all reviews » Beethovenstrasse area is cool. Tram nr. 5 and 24 are near hotel, very frequent, and they connect with all most important places into short minutes.Museum area is few tram stops. Reassuming : Amsterdam tours are easy and comfortable. Quite central in a nice area of the city. Good public transportation possibilities. clean bathroom, comfortable bed,. location and staff. If staying in Amsterdam again we would certainly look to see if this hotel has romms available. Only 15 minutes to centraal station by tramway. good attender. Breakfast was good -- not the best, but decent and they did have coffee. I appreciated that breakfast was included, which was difficult to find in the local hotels. The room was larger than other hotels in Europe and the bathroom actually had a full size tub. There was a nice door to the balcony area on the 4th floor -- which was a pleasant surprise and our room had a refrig. The reception staff Aziz, Karin, Merike and Nils, were second to none. In all my travels I have never met such kindnes, helpfulness and pleasantness. nice staff, correct room, huge, correct breakfast good location in city center. very good quality/price. The garage is not available -- so parking was on the side streets and costs 13 Euro/day -- but you must have coins.I felt the diningroom could have been a bit better organised. Every morning I had to ask for cereal bowls, cups and saucers, and on one occasion, omlettes. Otherwise I was very happy with my stay. The breakfast could have been better. The hotel is located some way off the main streets and attractions. It is however good tram connections to the hotel. There are also some nice cafés, restaurants and shops nearby the hotel.Some rooms/toilets too small. Nothing really but you need to be careful when running a shower - the hot water is scalding and you need to run the cold first, then bring in the hot gradually.the rate- price towards quality, it could be cheaper. Bathroom to small, Lift not working on one day.We had two rooms. In the first room there was an emergency exit sign which lightened the room all night. The second room was at the first floor above a bakery and there was an annoying smell from that. Besides that rooms were comfortable. The shower was not very well placed. Too high and the water temperature difficult to control. Very cramped bathroom.no resturant and bar. The whole place needs a little freshening up but as far as I understand that is taking place on a step by step basis.Very small bathroom, the heater was a bit dirty. The hotel is in a good neighbourhood of Amsterdam, and the outside looks like a 4**** hotel, but inside it seemed more like a 2** hotel. the tv wire was broken. Lousy reception, the corridors look ugly/worn, the hot water is dangerous, very very hot!! It was not easy to use the mirror at the bathroom because of bad location of light. And the lights at the room was not at all cosy. Cold on arrival and expensive. breakfast was a bit poor (no real coffee,...); noisy. Very poor lift system very slow to operate. Some rooms tend to be small, with very small bathrooms. There internet and air conditioning was not working (they never informed anyone) and they had no parking.The size of the bathrooms, the lack of minibar, fresh coffee. The fact that for 200 euro's a night you get stuck in a budget hotel that should not cost nearly as much.
