We arrived at around 10am (check-in not til 2pm) & we were allowed to go to our room almost straight away, which was brilliant as we were so tired after being awake since 3am UK time. The room was perfect! The highest ceilings ever, and amazing black-out curtains so we could catch up on sleep when it was really light outside. Super comfy bed. British TV channels. Possibly the best couple of nights sleep. Bright & lively coloured corridors!! Far enough out of the city but close enough! .

Located away from the bustling city in a quite neighborhood we could Conveniently hop on the tram (lines 3 & 9) to the major attractions; cafè, pubs & ''coffee shop'' just round the corner; a 5 min walk to Dapperstreet for fresh fruit n supermarket; comfortable bed & pillow; and all staffs are very friendly (in fact a very Dutch thing)! Highly recommended. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The blackout curtains are a plus. Low noise level. Breakfast was very nice and wide range of choices. Location is good with the Tram outside the hotel. Great price for our stay. Staff were cordial but not overly friendly. They managed any questions or assisted without hesitation. lovely comfy rooms. very clean and spacious. tram stop number 9 to Rembrandt square and central station right outside the hotel. althought the hotel is kinda far from anywhere you do have the tram and buses that pass by often. coffee shop right next door to hotel. fast food, hair shop and wine bars 30 seconds away. The hotel was 200 meters from the muiderpoort train station, so easy to get to & from the airport. The hotel is clean and beautifully design. The room we stayed in was spacious, had a garden view, and was pretty peacful. The staff was helpful and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Excellent hotel, great staff. All in all, the hotel Manor is highly recommended for Amsterdam visitors, especially if you want to compare it to other hotels in Amsterdam, as our friends told us after seeing our hotel. The location is good as it's a bit outside the city centre, but not too far away, as city centre could be very noisy especially at the weekend. Very polite and friendly staff. Cheaper than city centre hotels. Rooms are very spacious. I would score it 9 out of 10. We paid a very reasonable price for the stay. After staying in the facilities I would have expected to pay more. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood just a short tram ride away from the center of town. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Located outside of city center but right accross tram station that takes you to Dam square in ten minutes, and free parking after 21h in the surrounding street. Very good value for money. Well renovated and top clean. Large rooms to accommodate 3 adults. The hotel staff (especially Marcel) were exceptional. We enjoyed being away from the city center and able to use trams at our doorstep to go anywhere in the city. The hotel was modern, clean and beds were very comfortable. the decor was quite unique (not sure that it would be to everyone's liking though). Best reached from the airport by train direct to Muiderpoort Station.Take Domselaerstraat immediately to your right as you leave the station. (see street view). There is a tram station in front of the hotel. You have easy access to central train station and city center using no: 9. The furniture is new, rooms are clean, staff is kind and helpful. All great. 2 clear glass windows in the toilet. Pillows were very uncomfortable Breakfast was very expensive-17.50 Euro per person. The lay out of the bed in front of the balcony made it difficult to open the door. Parking at the hotel costs 27€. Our junior suite was great, but our grown kids' double room was a bit small, but okay. We ordered breakfast which was taken from the buffet and brought to us cold, so assume they want you to do the buffet. Be nice if they had a gym or fitness room. Check-out can get congested; only two desks. Not at a walkable distance to the city center. The ac did not work properly, then I realized that it is not an air condition, its only a circulation of the air iniside as it is a green friendly hotel, the weather was nice anyway so it was not an issue for me. The location of the hotel isn't as central as I'd imagined, it's about a 25 minute walk into the centre. However with local Tram stops and the Metro station on your doorstep you could easily get there within 15 minutes; which I find is a small sacrifice worth making for such a good hotel. My only two slight critisisms were that there were only 3 coat hangers for two of us, which was disappointing and some 'ordinary' tea in the room would be nice. Not everyone likes Earl Grey!. Having to leave. A bit far from centre but no fuss with the tram!. I never take breakfast here as it is another 17 euros, rather there is a great bakery by Muidersport station or a supermarket (ah) opposite. The breakfast is too expensive. Perhaps the Insurrance you have to pay at the end but it was not too expensive. A little off the beaten path, but great if you don't mind a short walk to get 'downtown'. Breakfast not included. Expensive breakfast, bit far from city center, Rooms are slightly small, Bathroom is not very private. twin rooms come with the beds together... we easily moved them and they both had separate bed linen, so no probs, staff were ok. The TV was anchored in a fixed non-turnable support. Therefore you can only see it with a good angle from the bed. Nothing. The location is a little bit away from the centre, although the trams that take you practically everywhere, are very close. The beds (however excellent the quality) were on wheels. Breakfast was good but not as extensive as i would have expected. In house Italian Restaurant and no apparent Dutch influence in menu or surrounding area. Must travel for Western European style food. not in the center of the city but it was just a short tram ride away. Window through to bathroom from bedroom and glass door, luckily we were a married couple but you would need to be very good friends as not much privacy!. Our room was a bit chilly. We didn't complain because we spent time in only for sleeping. Wireless hopeless unless you pay for it. Prices in the restaurant!. We didn't like the glass door to the bathroom and the windows from the bathroom into the hotel room, that was just weird - must be really weird if it is two friends or newly lovers who are staying in the rooms. Very slow wifi, often just not working. Free for 1 hour, but you had to pay after that. it was A bit far from central Amsterdam but once you work out the tram stops its easy enough. the check in the morninig to clean the room by knocking on door.... The bed/s. Two single beds pushed together- which kept moving!.
