It's a really a great place to stay at in Amsterdam. All that is
said about the apartment and Guido the landlord is true. We had a
fantastic time here, the center is really just 10-15 mins of walk, the
place is silent and has a nice view on the Amstel river. The Canal
Cruise has it's stop just on the opposite side, so you can take two
lines just by stepping out. I can recommend this place for everyone. all reviews »
Really nice to go "home",after a day of walking and sight seeing, and relax with a nice bath(huge clean tub)and a cup of herbal tea. We also saved money buying a muffin the night before and have our coffee and muffin in the am. before going out. The location is very convenient to all canal boat stops, on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood.
The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, following up with a thank you email.
Very comfortable stay with a great night's sleep. The location of this place is perfect with easy access from railway station. Yet quiet and scenic. Will certainly recommend Amsterdam Canal Guest Apartment and will be coming back in the future.
The apartment is very nice and clean perfect for a couple. It is in a good location that everything is in walking distance. The host was not available to meet us on arrival but arranged for his friend to greet us and left lots of information on the area and kept in touch with us to make sure there were no issues.
The host were very nice, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. He shared a lot information not only surroundings but also useful tourist information. The apartment is not big as we expected from photos but a very sweet and cozy home.
Guido is a very kind and welcoming host ; the place is great for a short
stay. Very well equiped, heated (important in winter in Amsterdam !) and
located within the city very center. Definitely recommanded !.

I didn't realize it is a basement apartment. You must walk down a few steep steps.
There is nothing to not like about this place - perfect indeed!.
Nothing, everything was great. Only thing is if you have walking difficulties it may be hard to get in and out of the apartment as the steps in are very steep.
A bit expensive, but worth every penny.
