This Riad is, simply, perfect! Before we had even arrived the customer service we received was excellent. We stayed here for 4 nights whilst on our honeymoon in Marrakech. The owners, Charlotte & Patrice are extremely friendly and hospitable, as are Abdul, Ahmed and the rest of the team. Nothing was too much trouble and they even made a special effort to decorate our room with rose petals for our arrival. Even before we arrived we had been made to feel welcome by the owners, Charlotte contacting us the week before to offer a driver to pick us up from the airport at a reasonable price, and a very delicious meal at the Riad the night we arrived (also a very reasonable price). Our stay at Riad Itrane was great. We had a wonderful time in Marrakesh. Explored almost every bit of the city. The Riad is located right in the Medina of Marrakesh which helps a lot to get around, everything is in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and really nice - thank again for the wonderfil stay Charlotte & Patrice. Breakfast was rich and very tasty and filled you up going through the day. On our last day, we had an early flight, and the head of housekeeping (who lives 30 kms from the riad) arrived very early to prepare our breakfast in time for our departure at 5.30am. Beautiful place, a haven within the hustle & bustle of the medina, decorated in an authentic style and spotlessly clean. The owners Charlotte and Patrice are genuinely interested in their guests and are, together with their great team, at your service for any question or demand you might have. It was our first time in Marrakech, a great experience, and no doubt our stay at riad Itrane added to that!. Riad Itrane was perfect. A stones throw from the main square but wonderfully quiet, fabulous staff who really will go out of their way for you, spotlessly clean and elegantly restored, the riad exceeded expectations and we were so happy we had booked there. Wish we were in advance. The place is scary. Period. The hotel is the "safe place". Leaving. Just our feeling as quite shy english folk but we felt a little like we were imposing. We would have liked a swim but we didn't see anyone else in the pool and we weren't encouraged or invited. I little hard to find - so take them up on the pick up service!! Streets in the Medina are not well marked. I thought it was a bit too expensive for what it was. I didn't like the western style piped music. Need to have food and drink prices specified from the beginning. Nothing. No lock to the room but there is a safe. Frequent power outages Parking car away from hotel The way to hotel scary at night. Showers were not too good , splashed all over and did not drain well. Nothing. Nothing.
