Riad Nassim is located right in the Fes medina. It has no sign over the door, but if you call before you try to find it, the staff will save you from the medina touts. In fact, Khalid, his mother, and his friend Mohamed will take very good care of you. Mohamed even took off on his motorcycle to buy our bus tickets to Chefchaouen so we wouldn't have to trek across the city to do that ourselves. The riad is an old medina house with a terrace view and rooms that are generally comfortable and well .

Our stay in the Riad Nassim in one word: wonderful. After arriving in Fes (for the first time) at night we were a little scared from the narrow alleys. But on the next morning before we got breakfast on the terrace roof we were astonished of the beauty over the rooftops of the Medina and the hills surrounding us. And then we got to know the staff. They aren't friendly, they are lovely! Whatever you need, Khalid knows it! And Mama Saida cares about all her children. Go to Riad Nassim, it's a mag. We spent 4 night in this Riad and it was so good. Personal helpful, kind and multilingual. You feel at home nice place perfect for visit Fez. It was spacious, had excellent decor and was very comfortable. Our hosts were accommodating and helpful, ensuring that we felt at home and they were happy to answer all our questions. The location was very good as the riad is near the edge of the medina, so easy to find once you’ve been shown the way!!! I would definitely stay here again. Khalid and Omar are the best. They will help you out in any way they can. The riad is beautiful (but pretty dark), terrace view is amazing, and rooms are ok. Terrace rooms are hotter, even with AC. The inside rooms are much cooler. Coffee is good. Wifi everywhere. Amazing view from the roof and the young staff were very friendly. The interieur was beautiful and clean. palais jamai is nearby. This is the best riad I've been to in Maroc with a good, variable breakfast (also visit 3 other Riads before). The staff were 100% the best part of my stay! Most rooms are lovely, but some are quite small. It is a fun place and everyone helps to make your stay incredible. Breakfast is delicious and the mint tea is a nice touch. Khalid & Hamood looked after us so well, providing the best hospitality possible, booked us a really good guide and went that extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Excellent location, extremely helpful and friendly stuff. If happened Aziz can guide you in the medina, take the chance! He is well prepared and onest. Stickamen and Mohammed were great! Super friendly and really accommodating. If you stay in the medina, you should request Hassan as a tour guide. The Riad was so cool so relaxing and the guys we met there were so kind so welcoming , i'm looking forward to visit them again and again. Absolutely nothing!. That we only booked one week in Morocco and had to leave the Riad for our flight... Location, like with most riads, is tough. Lots of twists and turns to find it. In fact, call ahead and have them meet you at the taxi drop off. Riad could use some work. Pretty dark and sometimes no hot water. Be careful in Fes. Lots of touts and the medina is an enormous maze. Only the bathroom was a little dampy. The room had a funky smell, but most riads in Morocco do. Bring your own lightbulbs as almost all of ours were burned out and the room was so dark as to make most activities difficult. Only inside windows, therefore a little moldy and less privacy. In the first one the heater function of the AC did not work. It did in the second, but the bathroom in that one smelled awful. I would not walk alone after dark in the neighborhood. i would not recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in fes.first of all the room needs renovation,the bathroom was very small,dark with no window and it smelt awful.we have arranged to pick us from the train station but they never came up.they told us that the other taxi drivers did not allow it..i don"t think that this hotel is a good value for money. The rooms were very dark, because there was not enough light. The toilet was broken. We met the owner of the riad, he looks like he makes good money with it. It seems to me that he is a bit thrifty and is unwilling to pour into the guesthouse. Some simple investments would turn this riad in a very nice place. Impossible to find, like most of the riads, without the help of some guy (for 50 dirhams)!. Lack of lights (many burned out). when we arrive staff was not very professional, one of them was smoking inside the riad and near us (riad is a closed building with no Windows to outsider).we had been in several riads/hotels/guest houses and they were all a positive experience, but the ambiance in this riad was very strange. the cleaning wasn´t very good and the room had a smoke smell. we did not take breakfast but we saw that the same person was smoking near two guests that were eating.
