  We just come back from our trip to Taxco and couldn't have stay in a better place. Hotel Los Arcos is located in the middle of town, nevertheless very quiet during the night. It's an old monastery with big, bright, clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, very helpful and friendly staff, and compared to other places the rates are really moderate. The hotel is very well located to visit the main downtown area allowing guests to be able to walk to all major attractions. Further the hotel has a restaurant that is integrated in its building yet is separate. The restaurant is excellent and its offerings are delicious and reasonably priced

  Room was small but big enough for a double bed and our backpacks on the floor. Bathroom was a good size and everything looked tidy and clean. Easy to find as it was situated on the main road. Easy to catch a cab to the Zocalo (main square). If you dont mind walking up a "mountain", the Zocalo is 10-15 minutes away. Watch out for the racing beatle ... what people say » taxis!
