Made booking on line on the same day check in. Was impressed that check in was fast and without hassle. The King size bed was very comfortable. Convenient location, East Coast mall just across the street, many good restaurants nearby. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff at reception and at coffee house. The bedroom & bathroom were spacious. My kids really enjoyed the stay. And my wife really like the hotel shampoo because it made her hair smooth unlike shampoo from other hotels that we stayed. Will make a comeback to this hotel if we visit Kuantan again.

I didnt get d connecting room which i requested.The aura is not casual...its like everyone looking at u n u feel uncomfortable.whereas d five star hotel in Penang gives us a feel at home atmosphere..so casual n friendly. parking area a bit dark. The staff should put an effort to smile at least, especially receptiont counter. For family room, there should be 2 shower room instead of one. food not so good. i tried nasi berempah kambing, not recommended. The first attendant did not ask what bed type I am would like to stay. And the staff not being able to check my booking despite I show the booking number via Passbook on my iPhone. I didnot like the feeding system as the hotel did not provide for tribes such as people that are from African continent. Pillows are too soft. None. Everything was fine for ue. I'm rushing to check in and go out....but the room key can't opened the door and rushed down to lobby for exchange..... too far from country side adventure into jungle trekking. The staff at the concierge isnt friendly. They keep chit chatting to each other while serving us. That is rude! They barely smile. The view at infinity pool isnt great at all. The rate. when i booking through letsbookhotel.com the rate was +-RM235 but the when i checked in the hotel charged me RM285. Extra RM50. why this could happen?. Breakfast meals are not up to standard and should say poor taste for nasi lemak, roti canai, and all the pastry. Lots of improvement required on pastry. Booked a Deluxe room but didn't seem to get a deluxe room as it was on a low floor and the view was only of the roof top of the exhibition centre next door! Receptionist claimed there was a big event so she couldn't give me my requested room, however, the hotel looked really empty!. restaurant reminds me on a city food court, not really inviting and feels cold and empty. rooms are the same, could do with some more personal touch. no cosy feeling. The cleanliness has dropped, unlike when I stayed there last year. The room I stayed, toilet light faulty, the telephone also not working!. Lousy & old-fashioned carpet in super delux room. Not so friendly female counter receptionist with no smile, rude, impatient, feel unwelcoming. 1 - Wifi strength in the room is so weak, i coudn't connet to internet at all. 2- Breakfast time is just too crowded with people, the food variety is grood but lack of staff to clear dining table. Feels like eating at a streets restaurant. 3 - Dont feels like 5stars hotel, and overpriced. pastry food is still same as my last stay... TERRIBLE...
