Clean, clean .... It was very good place to stay! The air-con was exceptional! Very silent and proper cold!! :-). Staff very helpful and always attentive...specially a tiny Asian man that carried our backpacks into the room while we were checking in..... That was amazing and funny! To see this smaller man carrying our backpacks....( the backpacks were bigger than him and really heavy) .... The hotel has an electronic gate... (Swipe in/out) which it make it safer... Great budget place!!!.
all reviews » The host is very nice and helpful. I am able to check in smoothly at around 11pm and he kindly suggest me a good place to eat. The location is convenient. It is near to Komtar Tower and can be reached by airport bus. A nice restaurant "Hong Kee" nearby and the congee is very nice. Hot and cold drinking water is provided. Snacks is also available at the self-help common area with resonable prices. Shower gel and tower is provided. The room though small, is clean and the aircon is excellent. Is within walking distance, between 10-20 mins, to most places of interest. Food is available nearby and into late night. The staff is friendly and helpful. I arrived abt 10.30pm. Was allowed to check-in first and pay the next day, as I do not ve Malaysian currency with me. Overall, i enjoyed my stay with the inn. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. The inn is centrally located in georgetowb and very close to free city shuttle bus and hawkers. Such a friendly and helpful staff, really appreciate their kindness. It was clean, comfortable and silent enough to sleep well. Next time I go to Penang I know where to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. When we asked for a taxi to the jetty the owner insisted on giving us a lift. It was also great value for money. Owner Tony does a great job making you feel welcome and gives good tips on sightseeing. Cheap and great location in Georgetown. The uncle - He's very friendly. Tell us how and where to get good food. As this is a budget place.... The rooms are tiny!!! ( we couldn't have both backpacks together as there wasn't enough floor room)....also there is no shelves or something to put your things (wallet-money-watch-glasses) honestly they need to think about this things..... But overall .... The place it's good! I def. recommend it!!. The room is on the 1st floor so you need to walk up to your rooms. If you have big luggage, it may be a problem. The traditional wooden floor may make a bit noisy at night when someone is walking outside. Nothing. I wished we had a common area where there is TV. Internet a bit slow. Walls very thin. Room had no window. Toilet are too small. Noisy at night since my room is just beside the main road. Wifi was not reliable Bathmat was not very clean. No bed, just matrise over the floor, it was comfortable any way No windows in the bedroom. However, due to the wooden flooring, it's rather noisy when people walked along the common corridor outside the rooms. And also the wifi is very slow. 1. A staff had entered my room suddenly even I had locked the door! I was shocked and felt unsecured. 2. A weak wifi signal. the room were cramped and no cupboards. AC speed was not controllable. they asked for 50myr deposit. Very tiny and can be useful for group of students, definitely not for couples..
