For our first "leisure trip abroad", we are glad we have chosen Seven Wonders Hotel. It was scary going into a country we did not know, and felt uneasy until we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist checked us in and spend quite some time explaining things about Wadi Musa and Petra which calmed us greatly. Throughout our stay at this very modern and new hotel, the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We visited Petra the following day and, though impress.

How I'm not a writer, I can only tell everyone who is planning a trip to Petra to know that this is a wonderful place to stay. Me and my family have had in this hotel the most relaxing stay during our one month trip in meddle east. We were very welcomed by the staff and the manager/owner Abdullah. They are helpful, have always nice tips and a smile in their faces. They really understand the meaning of a great guest service a. Probably the best hotel we stayed at in Jordan. The staff were excellent and extremely polite and helpful. It has all the makings of a high 4 star hotel. We had a great view of Petra from our balcony. The rooftop pool and seated area left us a little surprised the hotel wasn't more expensive as the quality was very high and the views were perfect. The room was spotless, a power shower (rare for Jordan) and very modern bathroom, heated and light fitted mirror etc. the bed was comfortable and lar. Nice hotel, very well located ,walking distance to Petra visitor center. Quite new hotel, good facilities, pool at the terrace was perfect after busy day in Petra. Friendly staff, since our arrival they tried to help us in everything, arranging trips, taking care of our stay all the time, specially Mr Abdulah(Sales Manager) who even gave us a ride as we were on a rush.... Not too many restaurants on the area, but you can enjoy the one in the hotel which is more than enough. We really enjoyed ou. Everything about the hotel is great: staff are friendly, clean, modern rooms (pictures don't do it justice!), plentiful breakfast, nice lounge and pool on the rooftop and especially the manager Abdullah. Can't say enough about him, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and extremely memorable stay (including taking us to see a "surprise" our first night-if you stay here and he offers you the same, DO IT! We are sworn to secrecy so as to not ruin the surprise...our second night . My wife and I spent four lovely nights at the Seven Wonder Hotel and it is one of the friendliest and most welcoming hotels we've stayed in. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was large with a clear closed-door shower. The whole place was spotless clean and beautifully decorated; and the welcome from the General Manager Abdul was genuinely friendly and warm. The hotel is rated 3-star, but it has a 4-star amenities and services. Great Value, Highly Recommended!. General Manager went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Accommodated our group for dinner on rooftop, though it was not properly open, provided special dinner upon request, and gave us a pleasant surprise one night! He also got our tickets for night show at Petra. We brought our own liquor, they provided ice and cups. Getting to Petra was easy, 3 JD taxi ride, so location was not a problem. Thanks for a lovely stay!. This is the 4th time my family and I have stayed in the Seven Wonders and I would not stay in other hotel when visiting Petra. I have also been to Petra by Night on 2 separate occasions but, on this visit the General Manager (Abdullah) took us to see Little Petra at night and it was so much better than Petra by Night. I urge you to speak to Abdullah and attend his night time trip, you will not be disappointed. Seven wonders is a good value for money hotel. Rooms are good. Didn't have any problem. The hotel is located 10 minutes from Petra entrance and is on the upper side of the city so you will have to take a car or taxi. Stuff is very helpful (Jordanians overall are very friendly people). The breakfast it's alright, a combination between arab dishes and USA's oily things, but good. I stayed here with a friend and for the price we paid (about $40) you would have tonight we were staying at a place twice the price. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. One morning we arrived a little late to breakfast but they kept the kitchen open for us and even printed out roadmaps to help us get to our next destination. I would definitely stay here again!. We loved everything about the 7 Wonders! It's new, very clean, great food, refreshing rooftop pool & beautiful sunset view from the terrace. They arranged a special dinner for our group, helped us to make tour arrangements and even showed us a few points of interest off the beaten path. The hotel itself is very pleasant and the price was quite reasonable. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. The staff were all very welcoming and we especially appreciated the trouble they took to make our room availble to us when we checked in early. We ate two wonderful meals from the a la cart menu - beautifully presented as well as delicious. Overall a short but very enjoyable stay, would defintiely visit again. We had planned only to stay one night before traveling to Aqaba, but ended up returning to stay two additional nights. The value for the money is great! We will be back!!!. I liked everything about this hotel. stuff was friendly. we had balcony and the perfect view from it to desert mountains and Wadi Musa. Hotel is on a hill so perfect views are guaranted. Breackfast was delicious, we had what to choose from. We had a car, so there was not a big problem to get to Petra. The hotel is located high in the bowl above Petra affording a great view. The roof terrace with pool are the highlight and we spent as much time up there as possible when we were in the hotel. The hotel is a bit further than 15 min walk to gates of Petra, but it is all down hill and easy walk. On the way back, you will be too tired and want a taxi anyway. 50 jd entrance fee to Petra is a rip off for the service you get. It's location makes for a difficult uphill climb if you are on foot, as Petra is at the bottom of Wadi Musa - probably a good half hour walk away. Staff would likely assist you with a taxi or minibus however. Other than that I can't fault the place. Not enough time to enjoy the turksh spa. Recommended they provide foot massages after long day of walking. Only small problem. There's no wi fi on the rooms and sometimes it even didn't work on the lobby. Nothing, it was a perfect stay! Just a quick tip: the taxis outside the hotel might try to charge you 5JD to take you down to Petra's entrance, but will take you for only 3JD, so bargain your fare ;). That we couldn't stay longer. Nothing to complain. no free internet. Location is a bit far. They could arrange shuttle bus for taking tourist to petra gate. It's really tiring to walk back hotel after long walk in Petra. But staff and others are awesome. Not as close to Petra as advertised as more than 15 minute walk and not straightforward without knowledge. Position not central and far from archeological site (but taxis are easy to find). Parking not available yet. Not all staff speaks english and it's hard to communicate. As we paid a cheap price, manager tried to sell us all kind of extras. Internet is very expensive 3JD/hour and breakfast 7JD pp which is exaggerated as well. Free Internet would be nice. Turkish bath was too expensive. The food wasn't very good - but there are lots of places to eat elsewhere in Wadi Musa. The hotel is at the entrance of Wadi Moussa so about 7 min drive from Petra. You would probably have to take a cab to and from Petra. Still this is not a problem as cabs are available at reasonable fares. No bad points to complain about really (except no free internet in the room). N/a. It is a bit far from the gates of Petra. But it will only cost you 2JD to get there. Absolutely no negatives what-so-ever. Food in restaurant was expensive so we ate out in the evening. Not much choice for breakfast. A bit hard to find, a kilometer from town and over two from the site, so really not convenient unless you drive. Free parking was on a curve on the main road, so a bit dicey. nothing. i stayed there for one night, so not much to comment on.. no free wifi in the room,. We had to pay extra for internet access. the location is quite far from Petra main door. if you walk to there take 20mins, it is easy , when you come back, it will be all the way up. quite difficoult. Massage table was cold but otherwise no complaints. nothing. temporarily fall out of the wifi.
