The first thing to say is the location of the Hotel is ideal. It is within walking distance of the entrance to Petra, which is perfect for the early morning start you need! We stayed in the hotel two nights, our first night were in a room on the mezzanine floor which was very clean but the bathroom had seen better days. Trip adviser was on point with this one. You won't be let down. The breakfast was much better than most of the other hotels you will find in Jordan - more variety than humus and bread in the morning. Free Wifi in the rooms!! Less than 3 min walking distance to the main museums, Mosaic City Map, and downtown markets/. Very near to petra like a hop skip jump. Hotel is clean and looks like it has been recently updated. Very good dinner buffet, do not hesitate when staff offer you the dinner buffet deal. Our first night was in a room on the Mezzanine floor. I would advise asking for a room on another floor. Although clean the rooms are a bit dark and dingy. No complaints. Very modern and clean. Low water pressure in the shower, shower head really needs replacing, shower drain clogged. Nothing really to groan about but can be fixed. We were pleased to leave the breakfast-room (inside restaurant) at 10:37 am. To close the buffet will be very okay, but to get the room free for the stuff´s breakfast-time is not correct. No wi-fi (WLAN) and Internet in the lobby and all rooms (but free password). The check in time is a bit late: they let us enter in an used room to take a shower at midday (after our trip from Wadi room) but is more confortable to do it in a clean bath of course. Nothing and that the truth so just go and book this hotel if you reading this review and if you are group hire a car and learn a little arabic. Maybe the breakfast should be prepared and offered really early for the people departing for a very early hike in the archaeological site .. breakfast to be ready by 05:30 am or so. The dinner we ate was a bit disappointing and the internet at 3rd Floor was poor. Can't find fault with anything except that maybe the buffet is a bit/tiny overpriced for what u get but on the other hand everything in this area has inflated prices ax expected. The hot water will be not provided after 12pm. Compared to other Jordanian hotels, this was very good. Breakfast a little poor, internet not great in my room, better in other rooms. Otherwise, the best place I stayed in in all of Jordan. Really minor things and don't really detract from the property. Wifi didn't work in room on 3rd floor and intermittant in restaurant, but plenty of space to sit in lobby to use. Juice at the breakfast is super sweet cordial (bit too fake and sweet), and no water to drink. Lift was turned off at night - but this is a good thing so we didn't hear it. Not too many stairs to climb, and the porter offered to carry our bags. -In room free WiFi has very weak signal; get disconnected very frequently. -Our free buffet dinner on 2nd night exclude drinks; bought 1.5l mineral water for 2.5jd -Shower seems to be quite low in pressure. The tv/satellite system was hard to figure out and turn on. The electrical outlets were not working. We didn't address these issues with the staff due to our short stay at the hotel. The internet functioned very well and without problems. Our rooms were on the mezzanine floor and the sound of chairs being moved in dining room above continued till the early hours of the morning. The evening meal (although included in the price for our 2nd night) wasn't great. It was a shame that the roof terrace was shut for the entire we were there, supposedly due to the wind although it didn't seem very windy to us. Rooms weren't very sound proof!. Not able to point out any thing wrong. They should have an ATM since its very hard to get on in petra. No temp control on a/c, just 3 fan speeds. Room was warm and stuffy. Expensive beer. The toilets specially the shower area & its curtain was litterally annoying.. N/A. Enjoy the complementary tea!. Nothing to say. One has to be careful while bargaining for local visits in petra. The mule drivers stopped halfway during return to ask for more money. The noises from the hotel corridors could be heard loudly in the room which was annoying especially in the early mornings. The staff was unfriendly at the beginning when we came with the smart deal booking, but it was getting better. Breakfast (not included in the deal) for additional 6JD is ok but pretty basic. The wi-fi worked just in lobby. No A/C (Apparantly undergoing annual repairs before summer season) Very low water pressure in our shower. Cheap toilet seat cover that fell off. Dinner was disappointing,it was a set menu,need more variety,Internet access in rooms,was very slow,it could have been due to the weather. The water pressure in the shower was quite soft. The shower wasn't ok. The water filtered and leaving the entire bathroom wet. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Internet not working in the room - good access in the lobby and other areas though. Wifi works only at the lobby, where it is allowed to smoke. I would have liked the option of a late-check out. We were not sure if we would be back from seeing the Petra sights and check-out in time. If we passed the 12pm deadline, we were going to be charged basically the rate of another full night in the hotel. We left everything in the car instead... but it would have been nice to have the option. Otherwise, everything was perfect!. We didn't get wifi in room, only lobby. Basic stuff probably an iron in the room..but we can call and ask them to bring it to your room. I did not eat the meals at the hotel as they were overpriced and did not look to appealing. Couldn't get on to the wifi signal from our room. The coffee at breakfast was dreadful, but it was a decent breakfast for 6 JD. Nothing I can think about. The shower curtain needs to be fixed, is too short and the water comes out of the shower all the time. Nothing. The A.c Was not working properly that is all about it. Breakfast no like review said so much the choise. No jug ketter provided, since the hotel no provide water, must prepare the jug kettle for us. Make us unhappy thing is if we drink the tea provide at lobby, the staff tell me just privide for group only, then immediately keep the tea pot. After we make complain, the they just serve for us! 1 pot tea how many tea bag it need? Why 3 star hotel so calculative on this?. Staff couldn't figure out how to make an international collect call that I really needed to make.
