Great location! 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro station (West Exit); and where trains are essential for transporting around Tokyo, this is a huge plus point. Lots of restaurants/shops around the area as well, and whenever you decide to go somewhere else, just conveniently hop on your desired train line at the nearby Ikebukuro station. Depending on the type of room, size varies, but overall very satisfying - clean, neat, great facilities, complete with friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed here.

Evrything,direct bus from NRT is great,the room is not huge but not smal for Japan,and very,very well laid out. You have evrything,so you do not realy miss the extra sqM you would have in Europe or America. Good value for money if you get a decent price.Newspaper dilivered to your room evry morning. A tip for first time visitors to Japan,-this hotel is very popular for wedings etc.,-so you see packs of Japaneese women in amasing kimonos evry day,its quıte interesting!!! They have smooking rooms. The location was very convenient. 2 minutes walk to the Ikebukuro station where metro, jr, and Narita Express is available. Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ginza is only a few stations away. The Metropolitan Plaza has all kinds of stores an is across from the hotel. Within 10 minutes walking distance there are also electronic stores (bic camera). There are also many good restaurants near by. The hotel room also has great view of the city. It is small like all other hotels in Tokyo, but very clean and we. The location is very convenience, the best location near Ikebukuro train station you can find so far (1minute walk from metropolitan exit). There's a shuttle bus right from hotel to both airports(Narita and Haneda) with reasonable fee, so convenience that you don't have to drag luggage to the train station (we are big shoppers). The staff are friendly and effective. We stay in superior room with panorama view. The room is quite small (for 3 bed room but will be perfect for 2 people) but still l. 1) Great location: very close to Ikebukuro Station. You Can Yamanote Line (equivalent to Circle Line in London) to get around Tokyo. For those travelling without a guide not too worry you can easily purchase the ticket since the ticket machine is bilingual. 2) A direct airport bus shuttle to the hotel. It will cost you 3000 yen pp one way. Very convenient. 3) Friendly staffs 4) Free WIFI for superior rooms 5) Room & toilet are clean & comfortable. Will definitely stay here aga. Smart large hotel with good facilities, comfortable room although very small ( superior room 17msq) with only small area for hanging clothes, but not unusual for Tokyo. Great view from higher floors. Comfortable bathroom with tub and showerhead. Staff extremely polite and helpful.Convenient location ,short walk to Ikebukuro train station with good connections. We had the room with great view of the city. The staff and service was excellent. Nothing to complain about. Very near to the train station, just exit Metropolitian Plaza exit. And some shops close later too. I find Ikebukuro a very nice area to stay rather than Shinjuku which I previously stayed at. Metropolitan hotel is located near malls and bars/restos. The Ikebukuro station is a 7-minute walk. The hotel is a pickup point for the airport limo bus for Narita. There are lots of convenience stores around the area. The front desk staff are fluent in English. Our room had free Wi-Fi and also has a safe. There is a vending machine and ice dispenser in every floor. The public areas are very nice... Location is excellent... If you arrive at narita a bus limo will take to the hotel front door,very convinient... Staff is very polite and particularly Mrs Mariko, Guest Mgr... She has an excellent english and can be very helpfull... Metro station is a walking distance and the line connects you to the whole city... I always stay at Metropolitan Ikebukuro. The main reason is the location. Very well situated with several train and metro lines. Plenty of food options as well shopping. The Metropolitan is in an ideal location next to Ikebukuro station, which is a main terminus including the express train from and to Narita airport. The staff speak good English. great great location!!! take JR from Narita airport directly to JR Ikebukuro Station (1.5-2hrs). then 5 mins walk from station to hotel. (get out from Metropolitan exit, turn left) From hotel, you can go any where by JR, subway, very convenient. Every thing was fine no problems re booked for return to Tokyo so they kept my main baggage as I was traveling around. There is a limousine shuttle bus to the hotel from the Narita airport 3000 yen door to door no hassle. Staff were great. However, there are plenty of cafes nearby where we breakfasted for around 1,000 Yen each. small room, well, this is Japan. Just 2 internationals news channel on tv. Air cond system in the room was in Japanese so can't manage it. Have to ask few times staff to come up in the room to help. Everything was fine. It's still small and it can be a tight squeeze when opening luggages. When reservation we mark on "Non smoking room" when arrived they gave us a smoking floor rooms, need to talk for 15-20 minutes and found 1 room for us as we book 3 rooms. I said I did not request and understand the request is upon available, but we mark at the box in front which show "Not Smoking room" ,. Breakfast was very expensive. A bit old-fashioned. Room was quite small for 3 people. One small observation was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel corridor outside our room. Expensive to use fitness room. Breakfast was good, but expensive. Price. For one night for one person I felt a little high. I don't travel to Tokyo very much but have lived here for a year. I think that price for two people might have been fully acceptable but if it had not been for our group staying at the hotel I would have looked for a more reasonable price. Pillows were flat. no free wifi in the room. May be the rooms could have been tad larger. Small room, but expected for Tokyo hotels.

Travel time is approximately 1 hour. It is available every 30 minutes until approximately 21:30. 2) The Keisei Skyliner Train offers non-stop service to Nippori and Ueno Train Stations in about 40 minutes. 3) The Airport Limousine Bus offers transport to a variety of major hotels and train stations throughout Tokyo, most of which are within a 2-hour bus ride away. Tokyo City Air Terminal (next to Suitengu Subway Station) is about a 1-hour ride and Tokyo Station is a 75-minute ride away. Please ask the desk staff if the Limousine Bus stops at your hotel or a hotel nearby. 4) The Keisei Access Express Train offers access to all stops on the Asakusa Subway Line, as well as Shinbashi and Shinagawa Stations, with a final stop at Haneda Airport.
