Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is the first Grand Nikko hotel in Japan, open from 1 July 2016. Situated in the Tokyo Bay area in Odaiba, this property is the closest city resort hotel to central Tokyo, a 20-minute monorail and train ride away from JR Tokyo Station. Perfect location for Disneyland. You can book bus from the hotel and it takes 30 mins. Also transport link is within walking distance if you wanna go to central Tokyo although it takes a while. There are Aqua City and Decks nearby so shopping is not a problem and plenty of restaurants if you don't wanna travel too far out. Nice bay view from our room and we get complimentary kids toothbrush and slippers which are so cute! I'll stay at this hotel again.
all reviews » Spacious rooms, free router (wifi) in the room upon request. The hotel exudes luxury but the rates are not as high as the Ritz Carlton's. View from the restaurant at the 30th flr is amazing - we even saw Mt. Fuji! Also, it is accessible to shopping malls (free shuttle bus) and the Daiba station is connected to it. The hotel is very good and luxurious.What I like most is its location which is directly connected to the monorail station called Daiba, and it is also very convenient for shopping; within walking distance. The room is also very clean, and offers a gorgeous view of Tokyo bay. It's a perfect location for a leisure trip, still with easy access to shopping and interest areas using the effective transportation network at Tokyo just few meters from the hotel. The staff is helpfull and the views are amaizing. It's comfortable and pleasant experience. I loved the size of the room compared to the 3 other hotels we stayed in while on a business/cutural tour of Japan. The staff were so firendly and always helped us when we asked. Good location ,the odaiba island is the most comfortable for trip with family and kids ,so the Grand pacific le Daiba hotel is in the heart of this island. We could simply get to Ginza district (15 min) by monorail that was near the hotel. I love being on Odaiba and its proximity to shopping and restaurants. The hotel was well equipped and the staff very attentive. There is an abundance of hotel staff that speak English making the stay much easier. Excellent helpfull staff, good facilities, clean and spacious see view room. Nearness big shopping and entertaiment centers like Aqua City, Tokyo Diver and Vinos Fort, etc. Hot spring within 15-min walking range. Luxurious Room Appointment. Friednly Staff. At first I was put in a smoking room but eventually they changed me to a non-smoking room, without changing the cost. The bathroom was well-equipped and the shower had good pressure even if it was over the bath. The bed was comfortable enough. I wish they had some reasonably priced suites in the future!. The reception staff were not as friendly as the other hotels we've stayed with. Beds were a bit hard (but this may be due to personal preference only). The only snall thing I would change was the pillows were too hard but that is also a personal thing and it would not stop me from staying there again. Our room wasn't rather clean compare with the room we accommodate before( dust on lamps in bathroom), used and spoiled door in bathroom and there was no balcony in this hotel . -No evening turn down. -Despite good local transport facilities, still inconvenient for business appointments. If staff spoke better English it would have made communication easier but nevertheless, our experience was great. Thank you. Last train at 00:30! After that no public transportation. English is mostly not spoken or understood; but every one tries hard to be of assistance. POOR Internet connection in rooms via slow router for Wi-fi. No English instructions for hot water jug etc. NO mini bar in room. It is a fair way from Tokyo and not on the JR line for overseas travelers holding a JR pass. Local Shuttle Bus crowded and irregular in its timing. The Hotel made only one room available through letsbookhotel.com, however we were able to book another from a choice of several. The rooms in the presidents floor are ok but certainly no better then normal 4 star rooms in Japan. Too bad my kids ages 8 & 10 could not swim in the pool. They are avid swimmers (swim team) but made no difference, had to be 16 to enter the premises. Sadly, we booked this hotel to use the indoor pool. They were disappointed. Fittness club and swimming pool is not free. Queuing at breakfast. The corridors especially stank of cigarette smoke, it was awful!!. No wireless in the room.... Like c'mon... It's Tokyo!! .... Technological capital of the world??. Wifi connection was not available in the room because no router provided (out of stock). This special condition was not specified in their Adv. In the absence of advance notice, we didn't bring our own router and such we had no wifi service throughout the whole trip. I did not enjoy the swimming pool as it need to pay even for hotel guests. Cable has very limited English channels...doesn't have HBO or other foreign language channels....location is a little far from the city. that my granddaughter who was 8 could not swim in the pool even with an adult. Not really in downtown, no breakfast shop except at the hotel. hotel staff needs to improve english language for tourist. Nothing. I suggest that you train your staff more of communication skills esp the people from reception or when u check in. The lady who checked us in is really struggling, I mean she cant even explain properly what she has to say about my card. Staff should be more helpful and dedicated to customer service. some problem for free wi-fi in the room. A little far from city centre necessitate taking the light rail shuttle to connect to city metro line. nothing. Very limited selection for vegetarians for lunch and dinner. Ate outside the hotel most meals. Business Lounge open only until 8 PM, the opening times of Bar on top of the Hotel is a joke. no wifi on the first day that we check in breakfast was too many people. Room service operator was rude. It was overpriced for the only-adequate room. The carpets were not terribly clean, although the room and bathroom were fine. It was such a contrast to where I'd stayed the night before for basically the same price, that I always felt disappointed. Nothing about the room made me want to be there. Had it been half the price, I would have little complaint. Too crowdy and noisy.no facilities such as atm working with foreign cards.not all the staff speak english.good for families because of the free shuttle bus to disneyworld (the hotel was full if kids,definitely not suitable for business).no wifi in the rooms.
