The decoration and size of the room are great. The biggest and most impressive I ever had for a standard room and toilet facilities in osaka/Kyoto and tokyo. Very good location even not near the JR station. Close to underground shop streets, restaurants and Grand Front (walk across the railway shops ). One block to train subway station to Kyoto downtown and Kobe. Try Tully's on street level under the railways (the best pancakes in Japan) if not Starbucks or breakfast at hotel. Hotel locate.
all reviews » We stayed at the Hankyu International hotel for 3nights at the start of our honeymoon trip. The hotel was amazing! We were on the 33rd floor and had a spectacular view over Osaka city. The room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous! We loved the heated toilet seat (especially as we were there in winter!) and all of the toiletries. It was wonderful to come home every evening after a day of sight seeing to a freshly made up room. The staff were courteous and friendly and ensured. Holy cow this place was amazing! The view was absolutly spectacular from the 44th floor! The staff was extra professional, extra courteous, and top notch. This hotel is not for people on a budget but it is totally worth the expense. I reccomend staying at this hotel 99% of the time you stay in osaka. The other 1% is the travel from the station to the hotel. I booked the double deluxe but I can't imagine the lower rooms being any less impressive. This is a luxurious hotel which offers great value for money. We had a corner room which was large and comfortable. The views were stunning. The staff were accommodating to all requests. It is an easy 10 minute walk to Osaka station and there are a large number of restaurants nearby. I really like the room, having a shower and bath was great. I also like having a place to sit down the sofa's were great. It was very clean and spacious we stayed in the deluxe double. The loctaion is excellent. Great location not far from Osaka station. We got a free upgrade to a room with an excellent view on the 29th floor as they weren't able to provide us the baby bed we requested. Best view from 32th floor! Good equipment. For the price I feel the gym should have been inculded and the price for one turn was ridiculous about £21+ for one time not even a day. Also the Japanese movies on vob the tv on demand didnt have subtitles of any kind. That was terrible. A room was a little bit old-fashioned but the price for this was good. We were given a room with 2 double beds. We requested to have it changed to one with 1 queen sized bed, but was told the hotel was fully booked that day. So we asked if they have any available the next day. They said it was fully booked too. We were kinda confused because all the time we stayed in the hotel, there were hardly any people. Even the restaurants were half empty. Anyway, I was just hoping the staff could have done something more to grant our request. Very expensive food in the hotel itself. Not very comfortable location for those who travel on subway/train - it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get there from Umeda station by foot. Leaving. Airport limousine doesnt stop at Hotel Hankyu at every hour. Only certain timings. Nothing to dislike. Swimpool only accessible to adults. rather expensive breakfast. Food. nothing. Very small room, not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Very por cleaning service. I had stinks on my bedside table for the three nights of my stay, same happened in the bathroom.
