  The staff was so friendly and kind! The room was small but clean and adorable and exactly what I was looking for. There is free WiFi, TV, and a kitchen with lots of appliances. - Well located, good amenities, clean and an overall pleasant experience.   We stayed at this hotek for two nights. And it was easy to walk there with our backpacks from Kyoto station. I google it then got the map from tourist information at the station and the staff just recomfirmed us how to get there. Only 15 min walk. Staff are very friendly and also allow us to leave our luggage there after check out. We highly recommend this place for people who want to explore Kyoto and surroundings for a few days.

In each of our double rooms there was a shower and additionally every evening it was possible to soak and relax in a hot o-furo (public bath). The ryokan is located in the centre of Kyõto, near Higashiyama or Gion, but in a small street so it isn't noisy at all. The little Japanese-style indoor garden is really cute and so Japanese! ;-) The rooms are also very traditional and just a bit old-fashioned.
