Great value for money. Appreciated the time that the manager took to help plan our visit and to get around, really went above and beyond. Very clean, had what a family needs. Searched a lot of sites for hotels, ryokans for 4 people that didn't break the bank. This had a nice mix of modern and traditional. Tsumugi is very convenient for public transport and local shops and restaurants. Would recommend it to anyone.

You must inform the property in advance what time you plan to check in, so the property staff can bring the key. Guests also need to inform how many of them there are, and each guest's name in advance. If your check-in time changes, please update the hotel. Guests must pay the amount of the 1st night of the reservation through Paypal, within 5 days after booking. The hotel will send an e-mail with the Paypal link and more information. Guests are required to pay the remaining amount of the reservation at time of check-in. The property can only guarantee the booking if the payment is received within 5 days after booking. After that, cancellation may apply. Check-in instructions: the hotel staff will meet guests at the Gojo street Lawson convenience store, lead them to the townhouse and hand over the key.Check-in is available after 15:00. If you wish to store luggage before check-in, please inform the property in advance. Please notify the property if you plan to check in after 19:00. For more information, please contact the hotel directly. Please note guests cannot shorten their stay after checking in. If bookings are shortened, the total price of the reservation will be charged, and no refunds will be given. Directions By taxi: The townhouse is located 2 kilometres (approximately a 10-minute taxi ride) from Kyoto Station. Please tell the taxi driver to go to 'Gojo-Omiya-Nishi-Iru'. Go to the Lawson convenience shop on Gojo street. By public transportation: take the JR San-in-Line to Tanbaguchi Station. From the station, walk eastwards for about 10 minutes, until you find Lawson convenience shop on Gojo street. Please inform Tsumugi Inn in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of JPY 28000 is required when you book. This will be collected by PayPal. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via PayPal, subject to an inspection of the property.
