It is the cheapest guesshouse (backpacker) you can find in Japon/ It is nothing special, but you have good aircon, fan so you can sleep good. It is far away from Gion but you can take the metro and be there in minutes. The landlady is ok, the cleaness is good in the room but a bit dilapidated in the livingroom and other areas you can share with other customer.
I can recommend this place those who are in a shoestring, budget, backpacker, even you can go with children. I was with my daughter who.
Right by a station on a good line, had our own room, bedding was clean and was suuuuuper cheap! $200 AUD for two people for a week!.
It's ok for sleep.

Too humid even during spring.
No nearby food for except Bbq.
It is a bit far away from the downtown, not very clean but not insect.
There is only one toilet but enought to have a shower everyday.
Very musty, 1 shower for 15 ish rooms.. Was quite scummy, I bought shoes to wear in the shower..
The bathroom, in secon, floor is very small.
