Central and 1 block away from the Memorial park. Its 150yen ride from the station by tram and then a 5 minute walk. We used taxi so we don't have to find the hotel and lug our luggages. It only costed 1200yen and right to the door. Friendly staff, great japanese breakfast that only costed 600yen. Clean comfortable room just like all Japanese hotels. Great find. Don't forget to book a Mazda factory tour if you are going to Hiroshima. There is an english tour at 10am daily. Book on line well in a.
all reviews » The staff were superb! The staff spoke fluent English and were extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable, they had free wifi and laundry facilities, and in house movies for a small amount of money. Breakfast was a little disappointing though, we payed a small amount of money for a buffet breakfast but the food was stone cold. The hotel is in a great location though and we were able to find other places to eat in within a stones throw away. The peace memorial museum is about 5-10 mins wal. Excellent location next to Peace Park and central shopping area. 5 minute walk to public transport. Very clean and quiet. Free wifi was fast & great for keeping the kids busy after a long day sightseeing. Staff very helpful with tourist information. Added bonus is the free washing machine & dryers. Even detergent is provided. Laundry open 8am -11pm. We are a family with 2 kids (11 & 12) so got 2 twin rooms with single beds as Japanese doubles are small but the single beds are quite . Great price, warm friendly staff. Good internet connection. Free laundry was a definite plus, but get in there early (and preferably not after dinner), as all the other hotel guests are thinking of doing the same thing! The front desk staff was very kind and spoke just enough English to get by. The price was really good. The bed was one of the comfiest we stayed in during the entire trip. Rooms could have been bigger, but were more than adequate. Have to ask the front desk to turn on the air conditioning to make the rooms cool. However, the air conditioning does not have a low setting and does not really turn off when the set temperature is reached, so it is freezing. The air conditioned is located directly above the bed. The room was tiny - we were expecting that - but there wasn't even enough room for us to both have our suitcases open at the same time. Not sure of staffs' English ability... The room provided was a little bit dark since the the windows faced the gap between two buildings. Hotel used key instead of key-card, had to leave at lobby when leaving (not major, just felt antiquated). Hotel is kind of hard to find as it doesn't stand out much and is a bit hidden away. The bed was too small (semi double) otherwise nil concerns. Small room. Wanted coffee & tea in room (kettle & Japanese tea available though). There was some noise from the vending machine in the hall outside the room. Not bad enough to spoil the stay though. Nothing. Bit smokey smelling if you book on the smoking floor like I did but nothing I can't live with. All good. Quite difficult to find as there is hardly any signage visible from end of road. Facilities great but staff didn't tell us about them and no information in room in English. We found out about the free laundry through the comments on this website!. I room could have been larger, but in Japanese style is it common. Toilet a bit small! Watch out your head!!!!. We had asked to be put in a quiet room, but we were placed right next to the guest laundry facility which was a bit noisy. However, as we were only there for one night, we didn't say anything and it wasn't too much of an issue. check in times are quite late,. Small room. No microwave. Twin bed really too small for two adults. the door of the bathroom is too small,,,ouch,,my head,,. Nothing.
