We loved everything about this apartment. We were given exact directions where to meet the representative ( which after a long flight was great.) The location of the apartment was fantastic for us... We felt like we were living amongst the locals and yet we were 10 minutes walk away from the Rialto. Also very close to the water taxi so getting to the airport and to Burano/Murano etc was easy. The apartment we stayed in was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom one with the bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/livin.
all reviews » We stayed (group of 4) at the apartment located near the Casino vaporetto station. The apartment was very easy to reach from the train station and also close to vaporetto station to move around Venice. Spacious, light rooms which were very clean. We were met by the lovely Silvia who was very welcoming and gave us an introduction to the Carneggio area where we were staying, including a local map showing supermarket, restaurants, etc. It was great to not be in the busy tourist area and we really . The location is great, central to all attractions, restuarants, and shops but just far enough from the crowds so you can relax. The view from the apartment is outstanding! Apartment had everything you needed. Seperate bedrooms allowed every to sleep. Two bathrooms were a huge plus. Coop grocery store very close for wine and cheese, etc. Walking distance to all points in Venice. Compared to hotels, this is an outstanding value. We stayed in Ca' Morosina. We were very friendly welcomed by Fabio with all necessary information and a nice present bag. Uncomplicated check in although we arrived two hours earlier than announced. The apartment was very pleasant with two separate bathrooms and in a great location - close to Arsenale vaporetto stop, only a ten minutes walk from St. Mark's Square, but in a quiet courtyard. Very recommandable. Excellent location, 5 min walk from a waterbus station, 15 min walk from St. Marco square. The apartment room is very large and very clean also. The kitchen is well equipped; it was a pity that we had not cooked in the apartment. We spent 3 nights here. If compared with other hotels on the Venice island, this apartment is a good and economical choice even if you don't want to cook in your trip. I can make no negativ comments on the appartment nor personel. We were welcomed in Venice by a nice lady, Sylvia, who took us to the appartment and showed it to us. She also adviced us on restaurants and places to see.Location is nearby San Marco and waterbusses. I forgot some jewellery in the appartment. Sylvia send them to me, free of charge. That is what I call super-service!!. Crowds of tourists are far enough, for seeing quiet streets and canals of Venice, but not so far for walking to major attractions within 05-15 minutes. Apartments Gasparo, where we standing for 3 nights was really big, equiped enough and looks well. As also for such price it was possible to find just good hostel or terrible hotel. Highly recommended. The apartment was very good. All the facilties were very nice. The apartment looks the same as shown in the pictures. The location of the apartment is also very good. The staff was excellent. The complementary hamper was like a icing on the cake. I would rate this as one of better places to stay in Venice and would certainly recommend it. The size of the apartment, the location above the canal, the security of the building, the well equipped kitchen, the two bathrooms, the proximity to services, friendliness and service from the hosts, the security of the building, great value for the money. All in all just a wonderful place to stay to enjoy Venice. It was a very nice place situated along a canal close to the promenade. We enjoyed to sit in the morning watching different workers who came by boat with different types of goods. The appartment had 2 nicely equipped rooms with private bathrooms. Everything was delightful. Clean as a whistle, wonderful gift basket, secluded and quiet location in middle of Venice. It wasn't right in town but easy to get to and easy to find the shops and restaurants in the area. We loved that the apartment overlooked the canal and we could watch the gondolas going by and hear the gondoliers singing. It was amazing. The caretaker Silvia was a very courteous and warmly welcomed us. She gave us good tips about Venice and overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the apartment. Great location. Everything was just as advertised. the apartment was very clean, well equipped ... every single detail was thought of! Location is great for a walk to the Rialto bridge and the casino. peacefull location modern clean easy access from water taxi (airport) near good amenities (bars and restuarants). When booking online you cannot tell at which location you are booking, as there are several apartments. Advising the exact location online is essential and would give potential guests confidence to know which location they are booking. I came close to not booking this apartment as the website did not state where it was, only pinpointed the Rialto Bridge. Many times we ended up spending too much time sitting on the balcony drinking wine and watching the godolas go by with opera singers. That really never got tiring. Most buildings on Venice island is aged, so the sound isolation is not ideal. You could hear watering patting the wall outside, which could be exotic experience if it's acceptable for you. It is for me. Separating of rubbish. It's good idea, but it is hard for foreigners without such system. We was 4 people in apartments and everyone asked me where to throw any little piece. But its not a big problem of course. Nothing. Not a thing. there was a dish washer but not enough service and dishes to use it. The electrical installations was not good, they were falling out of the wall. Flight of stairs to haul luggage up. Really can't find anything negative about our stay. Electric iron did not work. No wine glasses!. Nothing. There was unpleasant smell at the entrance of the appartment in the ground floor, possible due to dampness in carpet or furniture. But the upstairs rooms were not affected. the location is a hike from the fran canal and the closest ferry stop orto does not have boats stopping there after 8 pm, which we werent aware of. So if you are further than Rialto bridge at night, its tough to get back, except by walking. no information pack. Nothing - we all loved it. Only difficulty was drying clothes in damp Venice air without a dryer. Apartment divided by internal landing. Air conditioners fitted in vestibules off bedroom and dining room so air flow is impeded. Nothing. none. Ι΄'d like to has a carpet to livin room. The situation was quite noisey -being next to the rubbish collection point and it was also the gathering place for local youngsters in the evenings. The distance from the center of town. Only because it rained so much. If it had been sunny, the walking would have been fine. The garbage collection early every morning. The approach is not that easy Location is deep and isolated. The noisy factory next door and the Mosquitos. A floor rug would have been nice and some instructions for the washing machine. It was a long boat ride to get to the touristy area. Gasparo is in the Cannaregio area.
