Location, The room, the view from the balcony, the services, facilities- all were perfect . The hotel is very elegant and breakfast was extraordinary. The staff was amazing. People shouold know that the cab ride to the marina is more money than the ticket to Capri. No criticism. Although we didn't ask for additional pillows, there were only 2 provided.Had booked a room with partial sea view as available on the website. Would have preferred to upgrade to a front room, but it was unavailable as the hotel was nearly full. The pool was not heated and I couldn't swim, very cold. I had looked for a hotel with a pool. They charged for internet access and the restaurant onsite was average. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. It was very noizy in the morning from seven on wards as the staffcleaning up the roof terrice above us. We could hear all the furnaturebeing moved around, very annoying. the main pool was not very attractively sited and was overlooked by a tall block of flats. Air Con was going on and off all night - interrupted sleep with noise ofit stopping and starting rather than running it continuously. Pools were cold. Hand towels were inadequate - not terry towels.Bad location, ridiculous garten (not as presented in the pictures), pictures not matching the reality: hotel between popular buildings. Information about the area

A splendid and famous holiday resort, Sorrento stands on a terrace rising steeply above the sea on one of the most spectacular points of the Campanian coast. Because of its enchanting position and mild climate, sheltered by the surrounding hills, Sorrento has been a favorite resort since Romans times, (Agrippa, Augustus and Antonius all had villas here) and it became an elite tourist resort from the eighteenth century, its hotels welcoming such luminaries as Ibsen, Wagner and Nietzche.

Travelling information

By Train:
- Naples Central Railway Station is connected to Sorrento by the local train line called Circumvesuviana. This wil be a one hour train ride. The terminal station is located in the centre of Sorrento, within walking distance of the hotel.

By Hydrofoil:
-From the harbour of Naples Molo Beverello there are hydrofoils to Sorrento that depart approximately every hour. Marina Piccola, Sorrento’s harbour, is very close to the centre and to the hotel. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
