We booked the apartment with Corso 22. They have an apartment which is about 300 meters away from the actual Via del Corso 22. It is a really value for money beautiful one bed-room apartment with lift. Lift is a rarity in Europe, appreciated if you have all the luggage. It is clean with a well-stocked pantry consisting of breakfast food which you can also have it at other times. The staff are helpful, especially Angelo. He is such an amazing guy - so helpful and fatherly. The place is so access.
all reviews » Excellent location! Especially for shopping. Many major sites easily within walking distance. I did cab to the Vatican, but was a minimal cost and quick ride in the early am. (cab stand 2 minutes walk to Piazza del Popolo). My suite was very quiet with a well stocked fridge of breakfast items including eggs, juice, meats, etc. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The staff was especially kind and accommodating. The wifi, tho fine for e-mail and texting, wasn't strong enough for Skype. Ms. This is the second time we stayed in BB Corso and it never disappoints. We were received by Liisi by the elevator and we were escorted to the suite we requested (which was where we stayed last year). Everything was the way we remember it to be and the facilities were well maintained. The BB is located along Via del Corso and is about a block from Piazza del Popolo in the Spagna area. For supplies, there is a small grocery/ Alimentari around the corner by Via Laurina on the right side across a . From the pre arranged taxi pickup at the airport, & the lovely welcome from Lissi, to our pre arranged taxi pick up taking us back to the airport, EVERYTHING was wonderful. Our room was lovely, and breakfast amenities were great. Would highly recommend B&B Corso 22 to others. Location was excellent, we walked to all the tours we pre booked of Vatican,and Colisseum, and Florence. Our room was very quiet. If we return to Rome Wed definitely stay here again. Thank You. Leaving the apartment!!!! Can be noisy but it subsidised Need to push luggage but it is manageable. I really liked the place which was why I booked the same room/ suite as last year. All that I can recommend is them placing a microwave in the suite which was the same comment I gave last year. It has a full size oven which travellers/tourists usually will not use. But everything is well stocked. Leaving!! Sometimes Internet wifi connexion was intermittent. But that was no big deal. I didnt like that on the day that we checked out and paid by visa, no invoice was issued , only the payment receipt. No tax documentation was provided (eventhough we asked for it) showing, how many days we stayed or vat information etc. Some shelves could be added in the shower cabin for better facility. Nothing, everything is perfect. A downside was that there was no reception for assistance in case we required something. The hotel reception was located in another road. At least it would have been better if there was a internal telephone line to communicate with the reception as we had to make international calls in order to ask for assistance from the Hotel.. It's the first floor over very buzy street and it's not the place for someone that looks for quiet. Inside the room we kept the window closed and it was ok. The food in the kitchen was not so great, to our taste, so we got our own food. I do think thats the one thing need to be improved. Hard to find - could do with more than a tiny notice on the door. Room had no window and walls are very thin. staff does not speak very good english. Bad TV translation. Do not book the Super Economy Double Room. The room is extremely noisy and has NO WINDOWS. The walls are extremely thin. You can hear absolutely EVERYTHING that happens in the B&B, even people walking through the corridors and chatting in the common areas. We couldnt sleep well one single night.
