Fantastic location near the Flaminio Metro station, right on Via del Corso by Piazza del Popolo. Huge double room with enormous terrace for families, was the best room on our European vacation! Very helpful filipino and indian staff cleaning our rooms and serving us breakfast every morning on the terrace. Via del Corso is great for people watching and we hung out at Piazza del Popolo every evening free entertainment, people singing or dancing, can climb stairs to nearby park to watch sunset ove.
all reviews » Great location; Via Del Corso is the busiest street in Rome. And it is a zone with limited traffic so it is relatively quiet. You can walk to most of Rome's attractions or to the Flaminio (Piazza Del Popolo) Metro station (10 minutes walk). The line passing by Flaminio (line a) passes by all of Rome's attractions. The room is well designed and very clean and the staff is very friendly and understanding. We had the room featured in the brochure. Compact but all you need. Fantastic roof terrace with lemon trees looking down on Via del Corso. Good breakfast brought to our room. Fabulous location. Just a short walk from Spanish Steps, Fontana de Trevi and a straight line 15 minutes walk to Ancient Rome. great place on Via del Corso, which is pedestrian street, in 100 metres from piazza del Popolo. Great to walk at night into Pinco where you can look on nightly Rome.... This is really several rooms with\without terrase placed on 6 floor (no elevator), looked as renesance Rome. Try it!. Excellent place to stay with the most friendly and helpfull people working there!!!It's near to everything you want to go.Very clean room with private roof garden and the breakfast is rich and fresh every day. On 5th floor, no lift(elevator), but we knew that going in, so a big hike every time, no staff available at night so be prepared and figure out locks etc. during the day. The internet code expires after 26 hours and you have to ask for a new (free) one. The reception do not answer at night (or early in the morning) even though they should be available 24/7 (this can be a problem if the internet code expires which happened to me). Breakfast is served in bed (which is great), but not before 8:00 am. So you need to skip it if you have a meeting or a conference in the morning. Not aware it was on fifth floor with no lift. It is in fact a Guest House rather than an hotel. Difficult to locate on Via del Corso as there is no sign. You enter through a fashion boutique doorway called Subdued. 1. no elevator. 2. Staff is onsite only in the morning from 7-12 am. 3. Breakfast is not changing :). No elevator but we knew that!. Entrance is easy to miss (Haha, you'll see. Tell the clothes store I said hi!) and it's five stories high. By stairs. At the end of a long day strolling through Rome this may be challenging. Or just too healthy. Either way, I still loved our stay. Once you are out the front, it is a little tricky to find where you go next. Then when you do find the stairs, and go to level 5, you have to ring reception which must be located close by. Maybe just better directions/explanations would assist when you book. Overall though, just a slight inconvenience. The fact that there was no elevator. I knew about it upfront of course. But since I need to mention something negating this is it! And btw, if you're traveling from outside Italy you may be surprised by the high temperature in the rooms at night in the winter time. Luckily there was a window :). Have to climb up 5 floors, but once up there, the terrace is pretty worth it! Try and call before arriving, so that somebody is there to check you in - we had to wait about half hour. poor breakfast stairs. Nothing, ok , maybe the stairs but a great workout . High floor (5th) without elevator!. difficult to find in the street if you arrive late . Any body in the street knew where the hotel was. no lift no dressing mirrors small bathroom. Located at the fifth floor of the building with no elevator (stuff helps with the luggage). The Mattress was old and almost broken (too soft) need replacements. Breakfast continental style, whick seems to be typical for Italian hotels. If you are coming with luggage ... Be ready for the 90 steps to reach the top :). no elevator, walking on 6th floor. The stairs!. 1. Mattresses are horrible. I had back pain every morning. And even more - instead of one big for two people they have two mattresses which seems to be the cheapest available. For couples - think twice. 2. No roof terrace as promised. there is no people in hotel when we come. No lift - had to walk 8 flights of stairs... wouldn't have selected this hotel had I known this. The pictures in letsbookhotel.com and the reality is different. The hotel starts from the 4th floor and there is no elevator, no reception and no balcony as seen in the pictures.
