The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. They all spoke my language, English, and were not at all offended by my complete lack of familiarity with theirs. They were quick to assist me with travel arrangements and with maps and directions to the Leaning Tower, which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel's front door. Hotel Villa Primavera is a few minutes' cab ride from the airport (about 15 euro) and would be a great home base for extended exploring of the city. I w.
all reviews » Pretty much everything was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. I was a single adult with 5 children ages 2 - 14. The proximity to the Leaning Tower and other things in Pisa was perfect. My 2 year old was able to walk the distance easily. The room was more than adequate for our needs. We stayed 2 nights, and drove in to Rome and then back. Tiring, but I looked forward to getting back to our room. Would go back again!. Very basic hotel to one or two nights stay in Pisa. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Ten to fifteen minutes walk to Campo dei Miracoli or city centre. Couple of free parking places available. Family business very congenial atmosphere very friendly and helpful. Location excellent on bus route for airport and walking distance of the sights of Pisa. We had a very good week at this hotel. Room we got was loud - just next to the road; AC was not working. The price of the room was far too expensive. The breakfast was a dry bread roll and Croissant, but good coffee. At the bar of the Hotel they wanted 8 euros for a quart bottle of Prosecco!!. Our room was right on the road that was very noisy all night. Also, our room was across the busy road from the lobby so we had to cross the street often. The breakfast was croissants and biscuits with jam only, no other options. breakfast. Hotel was run down and breakfast was a stale roll. Not worth the money.
