The room, bathroom, the towels, the sheets are really clean. Staff is very friendly. Including the dog, Samy (?) :) What was written in the hotel description is all true. 1. the guy from reception was very kind 2. the placement for this hotel is near the cathedral and shopping street 3. the parking place is very safe and free. Nearby tram takes you directly to the Duomo, easy parking, proper espresso for breakfast, very nice and friendly staff.

The hotel is not in the centre of Milan but there is a tram which goes directly to the centre and the stop is only a three minutes walk. It is therefore convenient for tourism purposes. There is also a very big supermarket near the tram stop. Very convenient. The coffee for breakfast is very nice. The food is nothing special. All prepacked items; mainly sweet (pastries, jam) but it is adequate. The hotel is quiet and there is not a lot of outside noise. The room was clean & the staff was . Friendly staff, comfortable room. The hotel has own parking places, that's a great advantage. Tram is just 200 m far from the hotel, which brings you to Piazza del Duomo. Excellent value for money. The location of the hotel is good. The tram station was near, the market store was close to the hotel. The district seems to be quite safe. The staff was helpful and nice to us. We were visiting magazzini generali, and the location was super for that purpose. It worked fine from the breakfast room/lobby downstairs but not in our room. Connection was very weak. The bathroom was very small, only seperated from the room by a folding door so no privacy. The bathroom was clean but not very well kept (mould) They were doing refurbishments around the hotel when we were there so perhaps this will be taken care off. Some parts of the room were renovated, but some parts weren't. Fridge/Mini Bar didn't work, and was empty. The staff's english and german skills were low, but they did their best. The smell at the room was not good, but it's not a hotel's fault - it's an old building problem. The wardrobe was broken - the doors were at the risk to fell out, the bath cabin was too tiny and uncomfortable, the fan was not powerful at all and was getting all hot while using it. The breakfast were so pure: mostly sweet and not tasty products. No meat, no cheese, no eggs, no toaster - nothing warm to eat. It's strange that this hotel has a hotel status. It could be a hostel or motel. The hotel is quite old and worn. - wifi not working (room too far from the router); - the water pipes made noisy sounds when someone in the other room turned on the water; - old furniture. very expensive!!!! very cold in a room!!! old furniture!!!. The toilette was spreading some funny smell. Charging extra for a/c during summer is not fair. It can as well be included in the tarrif. I booked a double room but was given a single spartan room on my first night. When I went to complain no staff were available. None spoke English. I am entitled to a refund. very old hotel, rooms had bad beds and smelled. No shower curtains, slow internet, low quality breakfast, the personnel was not quite friendly - overall disappointing.
