  The hotel is located in a perfect spot in the historical center. It seems that it used to be an apartment before so it is a bit hard to find but at the same time gives really interesting experience of an "inside". Also, staff was super nice and friendly, we were positively surprised with a present from hotel for the Orthodox Easter (we're both fro... what people say » m Russia). So overall we had great time there. - The location was perfect, you can walk to all the major tourist sites/attractions. The hotel was also a near grocery shop, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. The Lady Manager was very friendly, efficient and really did a wonderful job to her customers. The cleaning lady was very polite and respectful and did a good job. I will stay again in this hotel

  We upgraded our room for a (discounted) 35 Euros per night. We stayed in "The Tower" which was a room on 3 floors with an old stone winding staircase. It was incredible. The top floor (the bedroom) had 360 degree views of Florence for miles. Very romantic and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Valen - Absolutely wonderful hotel right in centre of old Florence. Everything you would want to see is just a short pleasant walk away. Our deluxe room was very big, clean and comfortable with a frame bed and huge couch. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of dishes. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast staff even remember what you like and bring it without asking. My wife and I stayed for six nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
