A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Five minutes walk to all the main sites. Easy to find (although it is on the fourth storey above the shops). Beautiful inside and spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms could have been slightly warmer but it was February and the outside temperature was freezing. Heating could have been turned up a degree! Otherwise perfect.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The roof garden was fantastic especially as we had wonderful weather for our trip. This is deffinately a plus for this hotel. I just got back from staying there for 5 nights and was traveling with my 23 year old daughter and visitng my 21 year old daughter that is studying abroad in Florence. We loved the location, the room was gorgeous ad the breakfast each day was amazing!!!!! Roof top garden was gorgeous too,. 2 single beds pushed together - they parted company in the night. Would have preferred either twin beds or a normal double. Breakfast - would have like more variety.We would have liked having good internet in the room, not just the lounge. Also, the water pressure in the baths was too low. It would be nice if the hotel provided access to a computer and theinternet onsite. We also would have liked to have known about the manystairs it was necessary to climb to reach our rooms. Although there isan elevator to reach the actual hotel, none is provided to reach therooms. Would have appreciated a warning about this.Only one (minor) gripe. We had asked for a deluxe double room, but it did not have a double bed, just 2 singles pushed together which was uncomfortable. You need to request a double bed not just rely on the fact that you have requested a double room. Light facility could be improved, coz in the evening, the room is a little bit dark, not bright enough.continuous noise from 8am from the builders underneath.
