Catch the tram to flamino ( can't go wrong it only goes there and back, 1.50€ pay on the tram) then either catch the metro ( on the same ticket) or walk, shop and sightsee on the via del corso all the way to the centre of Rome .

  The service was excellent. I was was ill the first day of my stay and the staff went to the pharmacy to get medication and even offered to call in a doctor.
