Everything was great! From the beginning the staff gave us spot on information to reach the apartment, met us their on time and helped carry our lugguge up the 3 flights of stairs! Then spent time going through a map showing us the location of the attractions, good restaurants and places not to miss. They even gave us a congratulatory bottle of wine for our honeymoon! We had plenty of space for both of us, but if 3 people are travelling it would be a bit tight. We had 2 terraces, off the kitche.
all reviews » We just loved this quaint little apartment. Although small all that was required was provided for and in good working order. Washing machine was also easy to use. Bed linen and towels good quality and apartment was clean. Of course location was fantastic and we had no noise issues. In fact we enjoyed getting a bit of taste hearing about some Italian domestic life while sitting on the balcony. We also liked that there was an office where we could check in and leave our luggage if needed. Also th. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful at Signoria Apartments Santa Croce. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the top floor which was a hike up the stairs, but thankfully they carried our suitcases up the stairs. The apartment had a rooftop patio with an amazing view of Florence where we sat and had a snack before exploring. The apartment was clean, safe and centrally located to all attractions. Don't miss the pub around the corner for a night cap!!. I was there for two nights & the room given was away from central & too high up for me to climb the steps furthermore it was really small. I emailed them and very prompt reply by the owner mr danilo promised to move us to the actual signoria which is exactly at central & very spacious too. mr fabio & danilo were very friendly& helpful. I appreciate their assistance. Highly recommended & worth for the money. everything! the staff were the best ever. anything we needed, anytime we needed it, they were right there. fantastic is the word. so much space for all of us too - and the location! was simply perfect to go to all the places we desired while in Florence - one of the most amazing cities in the world - thank you SO much. you made our Italian holiday one to remember always. The Brezina Family. The location was fantastic! As they own a number of apartments you may not get the fancy, modern one in the picture - we didn't. Regardless, the accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very nice to have a kitchen and washing machine. The air conditioning is nice as there seemed to be too much street noise to keep windows open overnight. A super spot to tour Florence from. staff was very friendly, courteous and very helpful. They went out of there way to make sure we had whatever we needed. I needed various things printed out and I was able to send them everything and they printed it out by the morning. We stayed in two different apartments- the first one was nice on the arno river. the second one was amazing - right near the main square in Florence. 1.Just steps from Piazza della Signoria and other sights. Simply excellent location. 2.Wonderful service and help from the staff. 3.The cheeriest and friendliest Italians we've seen in our 2 weeks in various Italian cities! 4.Staff are very helpful and prompt. Even helped us bring up the luggage up the long flights of stairs. 5.Apartment was extremely clean and new. We had a beautiful apartment right on the river, perfect base for exploring the city. Fabio and the guys were fantastic, helping with our luggage and showing us the best places to eat and visit. Restaurants in Florence (Italy generally) are really expensive for us poor English, so having an apartment is a great way to eat fantastic local food affordably. We loved EVERYTHING about Signoria Apartments. We were a family of 5 so stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and LOVED it! The décor was lovely and it was very comfortable. I don't think I'd ever stay anywhere else when in Florence. It was perfectly located for convenience to get everywhere. Loved the shops and the restaurants around the apartment. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and close to everything. The apartment is a renovation of an old building but it is modern, very well designed and provides more space than you need. I really enjoyed it and when I will go back to Florence I don't have to look for a place. I will simply return to Signoria apartments. We were able to leave our luggage in the office prior to check-in and after check-out which was a life-safer. The staff was fabulous! Abosulutely nothing to complain about!. That description was incorrect on the booking form that there was a lift and partly had to go by stairs. There was no lift and had to climb 60 stairs. So, that would be a problem for some people, especially haulting up the luggage. The stairs might not be an option for anyone who is not physically fit. Only the 1st night the other apartment really small & no lift so had to climb 5 storey high.. it's just a bit confusing that you check in in one place, but the apartment is in another place. you have to take notice where the check in is as opposed to the apartment. you can also call in advance and they will meet you there but we were on the fly and it was difficult to take notice of all the details. also my phone wasn't working in italy which made it more difficult. 1. The 5 long flights of steps up to the apartment. Luckily, we did that only a couple of times a day. We got used to it after a while. So not really a big issue. There is nothing we could critique. Nothing. The only difficulty was the low ceiling in the loft. A little bit noisy due to its superb location, but don't worry. The wifi signal was weak and would loose connection in one of the bedroom, but not a major problem. Nothing - this place has no faults!. Can't think of anything. Nothing! It was excellent!. Stairs to apartment 6 flights so be prepared to carry items. My room smelled of stale cigarette smoke - mostly in the permanent linen and upholstery. Everything else was very clean and fresh. Very steep stairs, may not be suitable for people with knee problems or long stays when u do a lot of shopping. And they could have put a waste bin in the toilette as well :). None. There is not any laurndry facility either inside the unit, or in their office area. It is a very expensive laundry in the street. It is half hours walking from the railway station. Lift starts from 1st floor. Anyone who has problems with climbing stairs should avoid staying here!. A lot of stairs so would be difficult for less able visitors. nothing. Because of old building, no elevator so have to climb for 3 floor. Not good for elder. One toilet for six persons room. However with superb location, it's worth it. Loud streets at night until 4 a.m. The 3 flight of stairs that lead up to the apt. But nevertheless I took it as daily exercise before all the food I'm taking . But might be tricky for the elderly folks. Only complaints we didn't have a lot of keys, and the cleaning service wasn't super attentive. But these are minor. I highly recommend the place. I just didn't like that our stay was only for two days :-). If you have problems with stairs you should ensure your apartment building has an elevator. we were three people and third man had to sleep on a coach which is uncomfortable as compare to other beds. I did not realize that there is no parking inside downtown and had to leave the car in a parking lot near the hotel (25 Euros per day). Parking - this is a drag at any hotel in the centre of Florence and the arrangements made are pretty good. The three flights of stairs, even if they are hundreds of years old. Compared to three and four star hotels in the historic centre a bit expensive. But, for me, the Likes far outweigh the Dislikes. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. If You'll have any troubles with WiFi, don't hesitate to ask for help very helpful staff. Mosquitos in the room. No complaints. none.

Our House is facing Via Calzaiuoli, one of the two most prestigious streets of Florence, and its enter is in Via della Condotta, n°16, an ancient street , where you can find bakeries, trattorias, restaurants, small and nice shops, banks and pharmacies. You can easily find different typical markets, where you can buy food and all you need , like San Lorenzo market and San Ambrogio market as well as the post office and the tourist office.

Please note:
Just in front of our building, the little electrical bus "A" has its stop and it goes directly to the Train Station.
You can use the Ataf network other ecological buses (A-B-C) to reach easily every part of the city .
The FlorenceAirport, A. Vespucci is approximately 20 minutes by taxi and the airport shuttle is available upon an extra fee.
The train station of Santa Maria Novella (Firenze SMN is the destination stop) is within walking distance or a short taxi ride to ease your luggage transport.
