THe close location to the Duomo and the rest of Florence. Hearing the bells ring everyday. THe staff was so very friendly and helpful. The room was very simple but clean. The breakfast was adequate. Wish it had boiled eggs. I was going to stay one night and stayed THREE because my hotel was so pleasing and getting around FLorence was easy. Amazing location, on the main pedestrian shopping street, just around the corner from the Duomo. The free breakfast was much better than expected, and very well stocked. Even the cappuccino was good! The bathroom was spacious clean and everything worked. For the price and location, I'd definitely recommend this place.

The rooms and bath room was really clean, and we had a lovely view. The breakfast was really nice, too. It all depends what you need and this was perfect for me; location excellent, has a lift so no stairs, 24-hr concierge, I asked for a quiet room and that's what I got; I was exhausted and slept for 10 hours! A very basic hotel but the shower was A1 and fresh rolls for breakfast . . . Very good location. Easy to walk from railway station to hotel.All city attractions close by and in walking distance. Rooms large, comfortable with quite a bit of character. Hotel is on 4th floor reached by a tiny lift. 24 hr reception service and staff helpful. great staff, perfect location. This hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building with a small lift. Older man who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The other staff were ok. Breakfast was very basic. Smokers welcome. Bit of noise from the street but to be expected in such central location. Walls a bit thin so could hear neighbours but it wasn't a huge issue. decor needs an update. If you have to pay for internet, it should work in your room. Furniture was a bit old and rickety, but functional. Our room was very small however our other party had a large spacious room with great views so maybe ask to see your room first. Rooms are not very well decorated, old furniture. I was bitten horribly by bugs (begbugs?) all over my arms the two nights I was in room 106. Rooms on the right side of the corridor are quiet, but rooms on the left are incredibly noisy. All night I was kept awake by drunks, shouting, trucks, roadworkers, sirens and lots more. These rooms should be sound-proofed!.
