Nice and clean hotel with a modern touch. I was really impressed when I first arrived and got the first glimpse of our room. But after a while the feeling of a perfect hotel got destroyed through a couple flaws: - The temperature adjustment was broken so that we couldn´t ge a lower temperature than 23,5 degrees. - The were no light bulbs in the lamps over the beds (!). - No toilet paper in the toilet paper holder. - The shuttle bus didn´t leave at 6.00 as it should, instead about ten minutes l.
all reviews » The service was excellent. I only stayed night because it was close to the airport. I arrived at 11 am and although check in was 2 pm, I could get into my room right away. Large room with two queen size beds. Nice location in small neighbourhood. I did not hear planes at night. Modern hotel - the room was large compared to boutique hotels I stayed in at Florence, Tuscany, and Venice. The shower stall was North American size and the bathroom was bright. My view was a square with church and bell . The hotel is modern, clean, stylishly designed spacious room, with huge window. Breakfast is very good, serving from 5.30, which was perfect because we were catching early flight. They also offer take away breakfast box before 5.30. At the lobby there are computers and front desk can print out documents if needed. Wifi is charged but only 7eur per day, and we got two codes for the price of one. Staff were very nice and helpful, even a Chinese speaking staff at the front desk. Shuttle bus to air. We booked this hotel which is very close to Malpensa airport because we had an early morning flight next day. It was fantastic value. The very reasonable price included a free shuttle service to and from the airport and an excellent buffet breakfast. It is only about 3 years old. The bedroom and bathroom were a generous size - very clean. We rang reception for an extra pillow and it arrived in about 3 minutes. For an airport hotel, Idea Hotel was a great choice. Very comfortable and convenient. Liked that there was a restaurant at the hotel, as we arrived the night before our flight so wanted something very convenient. Staff was great. Provided us with breakfast boxes the next morning since we were leaving so much earlier than when breakfast started. Would definitely stay here the next time I fly out of Milan Malpensa. Idea was a great place for the money.If you are coming in from the train station via bus and want to get the shuttle it picks up on level 2 (Departures) at exit #16 terminal 1..There is also a pickup at terminal #2. If I knew this I would have been able to catch the earlier shuttle verses hanging around at the airport for an hour..and I believe it is every hour in the evening. A taxis is about 20euro. Great location - near Malpensa Airport if you have to catch an early flight and the hotel provides FOC airport shuttle from 5am. The most efficient check-in ever, including shuttle booking and wake up call all done in less than 10minutes. Reception staff fluent in English. A special appreciation to Christian (late night reception) for being supper helpful. Restaurant has nice freshly made spaghetti. Good quality modern hotel, near the airport with breakfast included and a shuttle bus to the airport. In-house restaurant (we ate at a local - the only other? - restaurant but it's good the have the option in this tiny village). This is really a stop-off hotel for the airport and good for 1 night (not a lot else in the area). Great prices. Very happy with everything. The rooms are very good and the bathrooms excellent. Ennio the Reception Manager was a delight. Helpful, competent and friendly. We had some problems with storage of excess luggage while we toured Italy for a week and he obligingly arranged storage at the hotel and kept them safely for us until our return.. As we arrived late into the airport it was an ideal location for us to stop off for the night before travelling by train to Lake Garda. The hotel was bright, clean and spacious and breakfast was an extra bonus. It was excellent value for money at only 67Euro for a room with 2 double beds. very nice hotel. in particlar the receptionist on duty in the afternoon was very professional and, in spite oif my impatience, was able to find me another room as the airconditioner was not on in the first assigned room. Modern hotel. Great staff and well located if you have an early flight. Ask for a breakfast take away bag if you leave before 5am. There is a great restaurant outside the hotel if you don't fancy eating at the hotel. Parking is free and plentiful. The staff was really friendly and more helpful than any hotel staff I've ever dealt with. The small town of Casa Nuove is right next to the hotel. It barely survived the airport takeover, but every restaurant has the nicest staff and great food. If you have to change one fly to the other but you have to stay overnight in Milano this Idea Hotel is for you. Reasonable priced restaurant for dinner. Good buffet breakfast. Big room with good beds. A lot of small flaws, disturbing the experience: - Missing light bulbs. - No toilet paper. - climate control not working. Can't think of anything negative. None. Shuttle bus is pretty small and only runs half-hourly - we had to take an early one to get a seat. Nothing else significant. Nothing, it was great!. The Idea hotel shuttle bus is problematic. It runs during restricted hours only. It picks up intermittently from Departure gate 16, so its very hard to find from the Arrival gates. My tip is to ring Ennio the Reception Manager the minute you arrive and see if the bus is running. If not its 15 Euro by taxi for the 1.5km trip. On my three visits to and from the airport I only manged to access the bus once. Nothing. Even though it is mentioned as available wifi you have to pay 7 euros per day. It was the only thing it was a bit inconvenient let's say. Bathroom would need a shower curtain. Some lights did not work. Wifi was 7eur extra. Do not try to bike too far from this location during rush hour- you may not survive it!. The hotel shuttle bus does not run from 10am - 6pm in the day, taking a cab there isn't very cheap and by the airport bus, its 20min walk in from the main road with luggage!. Nothing- this place fits the bill for what you will need near the airport. Limited wifi. The restaurant isn't open until 7 pm and there is no cafe or restaurant near the hotel. The bar opens at 5 pm but we were told there was no food option. Nothing, was exactly what you would expect for a low cost airport access hotel. The food at dinner wasn't really great - average, i would say. Curtains off the rods and hanging down in the room. House keeping could not have missed that but everything else was perfect. Only problem we had was finding it once we came off the main A4 motorway, so make sure you have clear directions. To use the internet you had to connect to their computers (they had 2 desktop computers), so you couldn't use your phone to connect to the wifi. Also I didn't like that it wasn't very clear when I booked it that when you arrive late after midnight there won't be a free shuttle. We had to hurry up and run to be there on time at 11.20 for the last free bus shuttle. Luckily we made it on time but just I think it should have been more clear. Breakfast wasn't that good. There is no information on where the shuttle service departs from at T1 (the actual place is exit #16 at departures, opposite to check-in desk #9. A/c was a little noisy but not unbearable. Only complaint is they wouldn't send a van for 75 minutes after we arrived so we had to pay 20 euros for a cab. I couldn't turn on the tv!. Nothing, it was great for the price and location. Some confusion through letsbookhotel.com we arranged a shuttle from hotel to airport only to be told it was full. There had been no communication to suggest this was the case. Either this option needs to be removed from the booking website or the hotel needs to run more buses if they advertise free airport shuttle. Hotel reception said they are always busy and need to book. A relative isolation. it is not hotel's fault but it has to be considered. Tehre are no restaurant around the hotel (walkeable distance) and the hotel restaurant is only fair enough. 1. Inability to unload luggage at the entrance of the hotel. Only one luggage carrier available. 2. Poor luggage storage facility. (We had a lot of luggage.) 3. Hard to locate hotel. No signs on local streets as for other hotels. 4. Shower handles nearly impossible to decipher and no instructions posted. 5. Having to pay for wi-fi use. Things do not work, airconditioner, TV never works, or there is ALWAYS a problem, Shuttle is never on time,, the company that does breakfast has dropped standards. So this was my last stay in this Hotel. Grazie e arrivederci!!!. Delay interval of shuttle bus, During my departure even though I was on the first floor the driver jumped into the bus and hurriedly drove off. Also the main meal during breakfast was good but always repeated. No free Wifi Internet service. Cost of internet too expensive at 7 euro for one device, 24 hours. Resturant opens at 7pm, that is to late. This should be open all day. The room ( # 125 ) is a bit run down, should be more maintained. Dificult to find a TV english channel.
