The staff are lovely, the room was gorgeous but very cold, overall an excellent choice and would recommend it to friends and family, we will be returning. The rooms were clean and good value for money and breakfasts were greata choice of full cooked or you could ask for different things likescrambled eggs on toast etc.The staff were very curtious and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
all reviews » rooms were of a high standard. it is near all amenaties. The staff. the hotel was clean breakfast was good and freshley made staff where good it is a 10 min walk to the temple bar aea but loads of pubs near by the hotel has a nightclub attached so i guess if you dont like noise best not stay there or better still go into the nightclub as its free its more like a very large pub ignore the bad reports you read about this hotel for 50euros you will not find better value its not 5 star and neither is the price. The beds were great. I really enjoyed (since the standard rooms were not available, I was upgraded to superior, which were really tidy and comfortable). Good position. Surprised at the room - well impressed - superior double - location great. Private and hassle free. Excellent Breakfast and free entry into Nightclub for Residents, warm rooms.the night club was excellent - but a little expensive. The room was nice. I did liked the location of the hotel, conveniant near the city center.The room was clean and ok, the bathroom was nice. Close to "everything" and still in a more quiet area traffic wise. Nice breakfast. The position of the hotel is very good.The irish breakfast was huge and really nice.The price so cheap for an hotel in Dublin. Proximity to Dublin City Centre - walking distance to everywhere.Not a lot. Friendly staff.I just stayed for 5 hours before going to the airport very early in the morning...It's noisy because there is a disco in the same building and a night club,.. That they let us go without paying some nights more!...and: after asleepless night, they served the best breakfast of Ireland!. Most of the staff were polite and always greeted you with a smilebut some of the foreign staff in the bar always walked roundlooking miserable. The lift was out of order and the TV remote didnt work. noise from the disco. too noisy i new it would be but i thought there would be some kind of sound proofing but alas no.nothing taxi price from airport was 25euros. The lack of parking!!!. The club is on the 1st floor: lots of parties going on but don't pretend to sleep before 4am. Tv remote didtn work and their were limited channels - but I wasnt put off by the noise - it is not a hotel for quiet break but i knew that before booking -. Room was quite small. poor pressue in shower and the water was cold. if clubbing isnt an interest, then the noise may be too much. The noice, the bed was too soft, no lift, the television didn't work, no warm water in the mornings. It happened that the hotel was above a night club, thing which was notprecised in the hotel presentation on the web. The night club wasextremely noisy preventing us of sleeping up to 4 am. Noisy guests arriving in our hallway at 4 in the morning, screaming and laughing, banging all doors both nights. No kettle in the room or even available on request, only tea and coffee (to be chewed...?).The hotel has a disco in the basement and you can listen to the music till 3 a.m.( My room was very small and the bathroom old. Tiny room, broken window, no hairdryers available for 2 days, egg shell in scrambled egg @ breakfast. Not huge problems, but we got what we paid for.There were no instructions about action to take in the event of fire and the fire escape was down the main staircase (no other route available. If a fire was on the staircase, the guests had nowhere to go, it would have been a long drop.Several maintainance issuers in the bathroom also. Noisy with the nightclub downstairs, no sleep untill 5 AM. At night, the entrance is transformed into the wardrobe of the nightclubwhich is in the same building. The whole night, drunk people are noisyand run through the hotel in which they also stay. 4 times, the firealarm made us jumping, the only answer of the responsable person was: sowhat?! In the morning, they clean everything, and it looks like a normalhotel! Never again!!!.
